| Order of Arcadia chapter 7 . 9/2/2018 *skids into the room* IT’S BACK! IT’S BACK AND I’M LATE! Aww, man. I miss Shiro being Space Dad. His relationship with Pidge was my favorite thing back in Season 1 and I’m so glad you resurrected it here. Everything is so well written—Pidge’s insecurity and fear (painfully understandable) and Shiro’s gentle investigation and protectiveness (delightful and just like an old friend) and the little cameo from Lance being Lance. I have to say my favorite part is when Shiro picks up Pidge and can’t help but think about how tiny she is. If I were his size, I would for sure want to protect every smol bean I could carry too. But I am tiny, and I feel Pidge’s pain in having a heart and protective streak bigger than my body. It’s just relatable and endearing all around, and you captured it so well. Sorry, I’m rambling, but it’s late and I’m just excited that this fic is back. Wonderful stuff as always! Cheers! |
