I love the idea of Peter and his Ravager past being a lot more dangerous and protective than anybody thinks when he's acting goofy and running his mouth. And maybe it's not a cultural difference, but the different expectations and what you do and personal space, between Ravagers and more civilized folk was very interesting. I was kind of hoping for Yondu and Peter showing affection through insults and death threats and completely confusing the other Guardians, but Yondu fiercely claiming Peter and giving no shit about their opinions while he looks after his boy was great too.

Great glimpses into Peter's upbringing and family.

Really like the chapter and is hoping for more chapter to read. So can't wait to read more so as always keep it coming.

always happy to see someone doing a guardians of the galaxy fic like this.
Not sure if you noticed though, you spelled Yondu with an a instead of an o. I've done the same with another character before myself and missed it when I first posted too.
I think you nailed Yondu pretty well in this personality wise, and I loved the last bit about Yondu killing anybody coming into his quarters. Any chance of seeing the Guardians reaction after this, maybe some Kraglin Peter interaction?
