This was a good chapter. I am glad that Sakura tried to give Shishui time and that now he is ready to open up to her. I cried along with Sakura for the death of Yen. It was important that Sakura made a connection with Yen. I hope that things get better between Sakura and Shishui after he opens up.

This was a good chapter. The action was well written. I liked seeing Sakura strategize and plan her moves. It makes this chapter highly interesting. I do hope that Sakura can get some answers to her questions soon.

I live for this kind of drama! Really love the way you wrote Sakura' PoV here. It's so lonely and I can feel her longing for that someone who she didn't fully understood yet. It's a valid view. Especially when she compared her level of closeness between Sasuke and Shisui.

On a side note that OC' Yen was so kind to Sakura, I'm a bit sad she's gone. Thanks for the update

I had read your author note but chose against reviewing because I figured your points had been valid – albeit poorly executed in the chapter. Now, this chapter is simply put, depressing. I'm happy that Sakura is finally showing what she is capable of. Healing 40 women who are in a frail state of health simultaneously, Sannin's apprentice indeed. Thank you for this detail. Also, I can sympathise with Sakura for her conflicted feelings towards Shisui and not giving her all to support him even with incessant nagging which she would have had it been Sasuke. I loved the pov of Sakura in this chapter as it reflects her worry and loneliness simultaneously. Shisui is so bipolar – one moment he is a cinnamon bun who needs to be drowned in attention in order to live, and another moment he proves himself that he is indeed Sasuke's cousin. It's interesting and not occ, given his clan and possibly emotional baggage that comes with being an uchiha. I can't wait for the next chapter when his backstory gets revealed.
