Delightful story. The interactions between Darcy and Elizabeth are so fun and sweet. I keep waiting for the other shoe to fall, however. Did something happen to Jane, that Elizabeth is seeing to her? I laughed that Darcy required liquid courage to speak honestly to Elizabeth - and then she still misunderstood him, poor man.

I had to stop reading your PM abruptly when you said "Chapter 13" because I had not read it yet! Unfortunately, I have been working a lot. It sadly has not left me as much time to stay on top of new chapters as I would like!

Such a bizarre opening. So...contrived and non-regency. I think I will stop reading now. There's so much lack of research here, no remote awareness of anything that would make this period or non-period.

You have a choice: write a modern piece (which I think you may do very well, as you are not without the ability to write) or do your research (if you want to write anything in a historical setting). You must pick one of these options, else your writing suffers greatly.
