Three Blacks ahead of her - Arcturus (Lord Black at the time) wanted nothing to do with Riddle. Dorea (married to Charlus Potter - James' mother) - not even Walburga (the cuckoo) would get crossways of her. (Remember, Sirius ran away to Dorea and Charlus' place - Arcturus AND Orion knew - and did squat.) Orion Black was NOT the Heir - Sirius was - in contravention of Black tradition - not even Sirius expected to be Heir. Did Orion know/suspect that Walburga was cuckoo? |
