Akurar chapter 11 . 5/3 wow just...this is rare to see the MC coming back to his original home and comparing the lives he lived in remmant and earth. that is a new perspective only a few between dozens isekai characters get. i wonder how he will develop from all of this. Amazing twist i'll give you that. to be honest i always overlook this story this last months but this lastest chapters are really interesting. i think the most surprising part is that you got me to care for Aero and who he will pick up were Nathan left it, in most stories the person who the MC replace gets inmediatly discarded or disregarded but you actually keep him around and it seems to me that it is finally paying off...great work i'll follow from here and on... |
AdamthePyromancer chapter 11 . 5/3 Wow ok. So I have literally never seen this done before. It's incredibly fresh and new seeing the same fish out of water trope but turned on its head because this shouldn't be new yet it is. Familiar yet unfamiliar. Aero not so much because enough has happened in his world so he has 0 clue about Beacon but still knows Remnant. You always surprise me with updates and the quality never falters. |
Gobert600 chapter 11 . 5/3 More |

Gobert600 chapter 10 . 11/20/2019 back to your body? |
AdamthePyromancer chapter 9 . 10/29/2019 Wow I was surprised to see an update for this. I'm glad you're continuing it. |
Lucas Oliveira1 chapter 8 . 8/29/2019 oh shit, it's over it was doing so well but i understand so many people reading but no criticism makes you lose sense of why you are still writing |
Madcinder chapter 3 . 9/13/2018 You know, for a RWBY fan, he doesn't really seem to remember the first volume very well, or he'd know darn well what made everything all so different. It's him. HIM. But, of course, he's most oblivious to his own actions and the ...butterfly effect. Ah ha! I actually just had the thought, uh... what if he's already saved Pyrrha from dying, just by the actions he's already taken? Food for thought. Nora is, like, the number one person I'd want on my team regardless, so at least I can understand his reasons. Spelling: 25 (I detected no mistakes in the realm of spelling) Grammar: 24 (a few, but very few, and non-obstructive) Romance: 1 (a little flirting from Yang, that's all) Drama: 5 (more pressing things were at hand, but there was a fair amount) Comedy: 7 (not a comedy-centered chapter either, but it had a fair presence) Mystery: 3 (it's starting to come in strong, got me wondering what his actions will change later down the road) Horror: 2 (held on well with the Grimm, really some scary creatures if you think about it) Action: 2 (not any super action thrilling heroics, but some things are definitely starting to happen) Adventure: 3 (fighting monsters in a strange forest in a world not your own, adventure ho) Total: 72 Conclusion: Although the more active features of storytelling had net growth, the basic core parts of storytelling had to take a back seat for a moment. So it's solid, no improvement, but no real drop in quality. Fighting for your lives isn't the best time for character development, and any reader should understand that. |
Madcinder chapter 2 . 7/31/2018 Ah! Wizardry! Ozpin, you old wizard. Just being there, Nate's already making a big difference. Changing so many scenes is going to change a lot of things. Now, on one hand, it sounds like you're a Yang fan and the opposite of a fan of Jaune, but upon closer inspection I think it might more be that you're just writing the character that way. I know a lot of people really like Yang and dislike Jaune, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Nate was one such person. Where you stand on the issue, I couldn't say. Personally, I'm not a big fan of either. Besides, I'm shipping Aero/Nate with Taupe. At least Aero already knows what coffee is, and he's taking Earth pretty well to start with. Pyrrha is too pure for this world. Time to score Spelling: 23 (a couple mistakes to tend to, but mostly pretty good and it doesn't kill the flow) Grammar: 25 (couldn't find any glaring mistakes) Romance: 2 (dude's got a serious crush on Yang) Drama: 8 (most of the drama wasn't super serious, but it was handled quite well, especially the sobering realization of Pyrrha's impending doom) Comedy: 8 (RWBY's own humor lends itself to this, but Nate's penchant for ruining RWBY moments is starting to become a real thing. A real funny thing.) Adventure: 2 (not the most adventurous chapter, but it ends on the beginning of an adventure, and Aero is in a new unfamiliar place) Mystery: 2 (I got to wonder what that thing is that 'he's missing', and it can't be good.) Horror: 2 (There's that looming impending doom for Pyrrha, and the overwhelming feeling that Jaune's going to be Nate's partner) Total: 72 Conclusion: The story's about to pick up in earnest next chapter. Things are going to get messed up really quick. It'll be fun. |
Madcinder chapter 1 . 7/29/2018 Time for a chapter rating review. Grammar: 24 (the occasional flub to be expected in a chapter this long, but they're easy to forget) Spelling: 25 (took me a while to realize the ice cream flavors were not mistakes, no mistakes I can remember seeing) Romance: 0 (there isn't any, but I'm already shipping Nathaniel and Taupe and YOU CAN'T STOP ME) Drama: 6 (obviously, the big bombs haven't dropped yet, but the first chapter has some weight to it) Comedy: 7 (hardly a rolling riot of laughter, but it had its moments... until he proposed to Emerald. That had me laughing out loud) Mystery: 3 (does make me wonder what he's going to do? What can he do? Was it really just wishing on a star? Will the store stay open in that condition?) Horror: 1 (there was that moment, when I was seriously wondering if he was going to have to run from Merc and Em) Action: 1 (nothing big or fancy, but a point for that brief Aero fight) Adventure: 4 (of a lifetime, just about. But then he decided to have lunch. Still, what an adventure to suddenly be in someone else's body in another world!) Chapter Total: 71 Conclusion: First chapters are almost always weak. This one is pretty strong. It hints at future chapters being well above average. This looks like the start of a beeeutiful readership. |
FORD B chapter 8 . 5/25/2018 Really cool story! |
Gruffard chapter 9 . 2/12/2018 Um. Time skip? I am honestly confused in what is currently happening. |
Gruffard chapter 8 . 2/7/2018 Very cute. Looking forward to more. |
Vikasa chapter 8 . 2/6/2018 This story's got a lot of potential, as far as I can tell. I really like how Aero isn't just shoved off to the side or erased from existence, and even gets a small amount of focus in some chapters. Plus, seeing some things really makes me interested in the interactions, like the fact that the MC legit bursts into laughter before Ozpin's speech. It felt like a relatable moment, since I have a feeling I probably would've done the exact same thing (laughed just as loud). Overall, I'm really looking forward to future chapters for this story! |
