You, my friend, have this beautiful talent of describing emotions so well that it feels like you're actually going through them. It doesnt feel like you're reading words written on a site, but more like your own heart is ripping apart, your own lips are opening in a laugh, your own eyes are tearing up.

And well, you broke my heart and fixed it as well, so I'm not sure what else I can say.
I loved the jumps between past and present so much, it was so fitting for the story, the little snippets provided a stark contrast between Remus' past and his present, how he went from being a hopeful, innocent, /happy/, child to a cynical, almost depressed person who feels like he's all alone in the world.

SO kudos to you for protraying his conflicts and his emotions so well!
I was a little confused about the timeline of this however, was this set after PoA? Is that why he says one year later?
