This was a great story. I loved the way you exppained how the world worked without making it a lesson in scifi. The characterisation was amazing, as always. Really interesting idea of Gene making a deal with the devil, I always thought of it in more positive terms. Great story, love the Galex!

Loving this so far, didn't realise until now he really did lose everything he loved in the finale. if he had a house it probably would have been blown up.

Loved hearing from both Alex and Gene post-series. I thought the Gene voice was particularly spot-on...

Oh, man. This is just wonderful. I love that Gene and Alex meet again in Luigi's, or at least some variation of it. Even if he'd beg to differ I think Gene is more than a little bit sentimental, especially when it comes to his Bolly *sobs a little* The explanation of the three worlds is so clever, and so in character for Alex to work everything out whilst Gene sticks to what he knows. This is so satisfying and well thought out and lovely, especially the closing part. Finally! Thank you for writing :)

This is really good and intriguing. Very well written. Can't wait for the next chapter, hopefully soon.

I am all for post-S3 fix-it fics! (because there was no way that was the end, nope) This is a really intriguing premise, I like the idea of there being another world 'on the other side' other than just being comprised of The Railway Arms and Alex having a significant rank within it. And now that Molly is being watched over and protected, she's concentrating her efforts on Gene *sob*. The thought of Gene being alone, even with newbies in his team, and closing himself off always breaks my heart, but I think you've captured his psyche brilliantly. Very intrigued by the mystery note - I look forward to more!
