Aha! Moriarty as a lad... Not sure how I personally would interpret that. The whole draw behind Moriarty is that he is the villain in the shadows. Known but whose existence cannot be definitively proven.

Them meeting at such a young age and the homeless angle is very un-sherlock even according to Doyle's original scripture.

Oh wow! Complete departure from the parents introduced in the first chapter.

Ah, sibling love! Very nice work again though young Sherlock is awfully clingy. Beware not to fall into the imouto territory there.

Stunning writing as before. The chapter length does concern me but only for when the plot develops further much later. Until then I think the chapter lengths are perfect as glimpses into the life of this Sherlock.

An interesting start. Your writing is excellent as is Mycroft's motivations. My only concern is the first name being Willow. It feels as though it may be used as an excuse to vastly depart from the core character of Sherlock.

Only time will tell though.
