Reviews for Pokemon Reset Bloodlines: Skyla Gaiden
RadBattery chapter 1 . 4/28/2017
Very cool origins story!
This was my first "Resetverse" story that I've read, and now I'm hooked, I'll need to read all the others as soon as I can.
I'm a huge fan of backstories in general, and while I usually don't think that oneshots can do a character justice, you pulled it off beautifully.
It will flow even better once you've got the typos sorted out, but everything else feels seamless.
I also have a thing for well thought out names, so I love finding someone else who also puts that much thought into character names.
Great job on this!

This a nice One-Shot with a sweet ending.

Normally I do not like fan created move or pokemon because they just make them over the top. You just create a weather condition for flying types. So I'm fine with that.

Heck I'm surprise Game Freak Inc. have not made one yet.

Counter Shield exists so why not Wind works?

Although Wind works does remind me of Tailwind to a Degree, Skyla did have a point of Wind storms also being a Weather Condition

You know I think this is the First "Draw" in a gym battle we have had, nice to see what happens during a draw
Fox McCloude chapter 1 . 4/27/2017
Another nice addition to the Resetverse. It's an interesting theme: many kids want to follow in their heroes' footsteps, and that's nice, but they need to learn to become their own persons, do things their own way and forge their own path. Like Miles Sr. tried to teach her, they shouldn't be carbon copies. For the record, I actually had a little story in mind for Skyla's grandfather, but I might have to change it a bit now that this one came out (not too much, though).

Interesting, so we're allowed to create original moves? I've got a pretty long list of those (for another project) but maybe there's one or two I'd like to use here. I'll have to come up with a name for your Wind Works, though (the Spanish literal translation doesn't quite work, I'd say).

Nice work on this one. Time to add it to the to-translate list.
