This story is very well written! I love everything about it, especially the intermittent Carlisle whump. I wonder how he will be able to keep blood down with his new powers. Please update soon!

Carlisle is in some serious trouble, poor guy. I love this story so much, can't wait to read the next chapter!

There's actually a lot of wisdom to Esme's comment about "focusing on the moments, and not the things".

All the teasing and interactions in the beginning made me chuckle and for a while there things really seemed to be looking up. (But that would too easy, wouldn't it?) ;-)

The idea about using an IV is actually a really good one, although what could possibly used that would be both small enough to fit in a vein AND strong enough to penetrate what is essentially ROCK is a real delema! Maybe something like a hollow, diamond-tip drill bit? But even that would be a long shot. I'm EXTREMELY curious to see what solution you have in store!

So good to see Tanya and her coven sticking with CarliseEsme, even if not everyone is thrilled with that decision AND there being a *LOT* of trials involved. How does that phrase go, "two steps forward, one step back"? Although unfortunitly it seems almost to the point of "one step FORWARD, two BACK", it's good to see progress non the less.

Looks like things are going to be coming to a head soon! Glad to see the Cullens sticking with him (threat though he may beat least it seems that way by their actionsspeech. You'd definitly find out in a hurry who your friends are (and to what degree) in a situation like this. I wonder what Tanya's phone call will reveal?

Thanks for the update. Poor Carlisle. It will obviously be a long time before he can work as a doctor again, if ever. For his sake, I hope he can manage to get on top of his emotions before the Cullen coven is driven apart. Will be looking forward to the next chapter.

Wow, I could TOTALLY picture this happening, right down to way & reason for "returning to work" and the aftermath. Kinda sad that it had to be that way, but I can't realistically think of another way it couldve gone.

I was starting to wonder where & what the rest if the Cullens have been doing/gone, so it was good to hear from them (even if it was only two of them). That, and if Aro (or even the Wolves) will be making appearance to make an even bigger mess of things.

Going to Alaska would be a great solution, although it's going to be interesting to see how the Denali's will react to that idea.

This story is soooo good! I've been looking for a story like this with Carlisle for so long! I'm so excited to see what happens next and how it affects the cullens, especially Esme and Carlisle. Allistar is a very interesting character as well, seeing him interact one-on-one with Carlisle is so cool.
