the thing is Rory all you ever do is lead him on then when thing get too serious for you you pull back aka the saying no to him asking you to marry him where if you really wanted a life with him career or to career yet you would have said yes without a pro / con list and if you were not quite ready instead of oh being married to you will limit my wide open career path then have the balls to asked for unlimited long distance relationship with no guarantee of ever moving past that how was that fair to him that you pretty much tell him he's only good for a fuck buddy and nothing more then expect him to stay in that kind of relationship.. what you should have said was im not quite ready for marriage but im willing to move to California with you have California as my main home as I try journalism on the road and see what I like and maybe in a year or two we can talk about marriage and go from there then he would not feel like your relationship is not going anywhere and you would have stilled had a choice on career and find what you wanted
