| Guest chapter 27 . 7/5 If Pemberley is not entailed Darcy could leave it to whomever he wanted, bypassing the Wickhams altogether. If it is entailed he has no choice, but unless his father made the entail, it's unlikely it would go to Georgiana, but rather some other male relative like his great uncle the judge and his line or whoever is closest to the creator of the entail. Only if he died without a will would what you say happen and it would be irresponsible to not have a will, so I really can't imagine that. |
