Well, that story made me lose some hours of sleep haha! Had to start reading this epic fight just before bed, what a mistake. Couldn't stop until the love declaration at the end of it, which was sooo on point by the way. I'm usually not a fan of this pairing, but your story made me see it. I loved it, truly. I loved the original traits and features you gave those two; the stressed-out Link who signs whenever he panics, the comical relief they bring each other, the net Sidon uses to fight, the lizal tongue spoke by royal Zora. I LOVED Gerald, from the moment you introduced him, and I don't usually get attached to OCs. Both the political and love intrigues were most entertaining. And I like how you skipped over some uninteresting action, sometimes it's best not to lose oneself in irrelevant details. All in all, you truly deserve this fav ;)

I really enjoyed reading this! You have a wonderful writing style in my opinion. I would love a sequel and would definitely be one of the first to read it, or even just a one shot about their life after the Calamity, should you chose to write one.

I haven't finished this chapter but your writing is amazing. I really enjoy reading the words you use to really bring the world to life :) I will try to finish eventually but I am on some heavy meds after my surgery. Lovely conclusion, and a great way to wrap things up! I especially liked Isolda's comment about her ancestor selling the Hero flippers - does that mean BotW Lizaldfos are descended from River Zoras? That would definitely be interesting.

Here's hoping you'll write a sequel for Link and Sidon after the Calamity's defeat. Or are you waiting until DLC2 is released to plan that. Either way, you should be very proud to actually finish this story! That's more than I've ever done! Congrats again!

I LOVE THIS FANFIC SOOOOOO MUCH

Wow. A ride. That was such a ride. I normally don't drop by reviews, but BOY, that was such a ride. I was so relieved to see that the last update date was relatively close, because otherwise I would have fallen into despair. This little fanfiction here has been keeping my reading mind occupied in my breaks throughout the day, and bless your soul for posting it.

Anyhow. I love the characterization of Sidon in this fanfiction, it's brilliant and on-point. At this point, it's safe to say that I've fallen for the dorky fish as well. And Link is so sassy sometimes, gosh. Sidon and Link's interactions are so endearing too! It made my own heart flutter a little and had me screaming my woes for a while whenever they were awkward around each other. Teenagers.

Or not. Sidon's over a hundred years old, after all.

And even the Lizalfos, for god's sake, the LIZALFOS had personality as well! I can't look at lizalfos and eradicate their camps quite the same anymore. But I always love works where every character gets some time to show off their personality. I really appreciated the touches on Sidon's unit, especially Bazz and Ailbhe (those dorks. Seems like that's the defining trait in Zoras). And Muzu. God, who would have thought Muzu...

I feel like I have so much more to say, but let me end it here with a big thank you! I know how hard it is to balance life and writing, so I'm here to tell you I appreciate you so much for pushing through to write this! I look forward to how this ends.

Shouldn't the glow of the shrine be blue, not orange? By the way, I really like the story, but I don't think the summary does it justice. It's just not gripping enough, you know? Nothing wrong with a short summary, but I feel like you could add something to it...
