Great story! The characters and the storyline are written very well. Love the tension between Zelda and Ganon...will this turn into a love triangle thing once Link shows up? :) I do hope you continue!

You're a good writer and don't let the idiocy of someone disrupt the pleasure of writing.

Keep going and ignore those who don't appreciate your writing

Ps sorry for my horrible english
Nosy Reviewer chapter 8 . 12/11/2017
Sometimes I check the reviews to random stories out of curiosity, and I checked the reviews on this a few days ago. Got into the drama. I saw how that person claimed you deleted their first review and guessed that you would delete their new one, so I just had to come back later to see if you did... And what do you know, it's gone. I'm not trying to attack you so don't take what I'm saying the wrong way here, but all you're doing is proving that you can't handle criticism...

Anyways, if you may allow me to butt my head in here... I'm middle ground between you two. On one hand, I agree with you 100% that what authors write about does not determine who they are. I write some really fucked up shit myself, and I hate it when people try to claim that writing events equals approving of those events. Writing about fucked up shit can be therapeutic for those who have experienced what they're writing about. I don't know if you were raped, but I was, and a lot of my stories involve rape. I always wonder how many people who go off on those who write stories with rape are really going off on authors using their stories as a way to cope with being raped themselves. I've had my fair share of it myself and there's really nothing more infuriating than someone pretending so hard to care about rape without realizing that they're attempting to take away a genuine coping mechanism from victims.

Other hand. That person was right about Zelda not really having a past setting. Aesthetically? Yes, it looks like Europe in the past, but there really has not been a single thing in the series to suggest that their society is what you're making it out to be. This is literally a society that worships only Goddesses, that believes that only a woman ultimately has the power to seal Ganon away, that very frequently allows that same young woman to rule by herself with no husband present. Even the very first game in the series chronologically has no problem with women becoming knights or holding jobs. You seem like you just want an excuse to write a Strong Woman Standing Up To Sexism!1! story. Which, fine, whatever, write what you want. But don't pretend that what you're writing in any way vaguely resembles Hyrule's society and culture as we have seen it.
