I’m only commenting on this because I know you are rewriting this and hopefully you will see and consider it.
I’m super confused as to why you kept Kanata alive? I thought you would kill him as nothing at all has changed and he should be dead. If Obito were to let someone live because they are his friend, it would be the one he has a connection to. And the Hokage would never have let an uchiha be outside the compound on the night of the massacre. Kanata is not loyal to Konoha and most likely should be killed for its safety.
Also I was hoping he would die because of the frankly disgusting, disturbing, and revolting obsession he has with Ren. As a victim of child sexual abuse, and a studier of the psychology, I can say with confidence that this is the thought pattern of a pedophile. Any thought like that about a five year old is inexcusable.
All in all, it just seems like a bad idea to keep him alive. Killing him off would better progress the story as well. Ren has little interaction with canon characters as it is. Trimming the fat, so to say, would be the best option. I like the story and the concept and I am looking forward to the rewrite. I hope you see this and consider killing him off in the rewrite, if only for realism purposes.

Kakashi is completely ooc, but that's okay. Also, about the question in the previous chapter, most of the people arent uncomfortable with BxB but this is just straight up pedophilia.

this seems like a pretty good story, and the idea is really great! however, i just can't deal with how out of character kakashi is. this guy avoided naruto like the plague (the son of his SENSEI, who he knew way longer than rin) so i doubt he'd be introducing himself to ren like this and practically adopting him into his family.

not only that but his personality is way off.. as soon as i opened this chapter and saw him /chirp/ good morning to ren, i decided i definitely couldn't continue to read this story.

ren describes kakashi as a "pervert who was always late except for emergencies" and i can't tell if HE'S the one that didn't watch the full anime, or if you are. because kakashi is way more complex than that, and much more stoic than he is being portrayed.
