though why does violet have to become the savior or reformer of wizarding Britain? or join her sister as a hero. why can't she decide to be a neutral? i'm just saying why make her a hero. why not an anti-hero like deadpool? he is not a super hero, far from it, as a matter of fact, it irks me when someone calls deadpool a superhero, he just isn't. sorry about that rant, but do you see my point, you make it sound like the story has already been written.
also, i wish you could have done something different with the wand. with her being different, it would have made sense to go with a specialized wand and made it more of a one of a kind story.
I am glad you put her in Ravenclaw. it makes perfect sense for her to go there. when you let ron in the compartment with ivy i was expecting it to be another "phenix holly wand, gryfindor, friend with ron, malfor bashing, suspicious dumbledoor typical hero," story. So having her in ravenclaw was a good change.
don't get me wrong, this story looks good, but i hope you make this story your own and don't fall into the different molds of stories.

...Is there missing chapters or something? It goes from the beginning of first year, to the middle of third. Would like a bit more detail there. If only to know whether the first two years had anything remotely like the books happen.

"You know my name, despite not giving any indication that would make me think you did?" Had to reread that section a few times to realize that no, Hagrid didn't say her name. Well unless it counts as 'not asking for the name'. Though it also shouldn't be a surprise that, after asking someone to pick her up for school supplies, said person would know her name.

Also, "(...) the most difficult student (...), if not the most difficult one." I'm guessing that the first part is meant to have 'one of' stuck at the beginning? Either that or some other word choice instead of one of the 'difficults'. Some possible alternate words I can think of is interesting, intriguing, unusual, and so on. Personally, 'one of' sounds like the better solutions to me, at least. And probably what you did intend, only for it to get accidentally dropped out.
