Guest chapter 2 . 4/18/2017 Having trouble logging in,so here's from church lady63... I love chapter stories, and especially ones that follow the guys all the way to the end. This was sweet. Tully and Hitch talked it through and made their feelings clear without getting sappy. They also both knew how Troy and Moffitt felt about not wanting to lose either of them. Another one to reread at some point in the future. Thanks |
tullyfan chapter 2 . 4/19/2017 OK - I cheated a little after reading part 1 last night to be sure the 2 privates were OK with each other. It was cute when hitch "was aware of Tully's physical presence" - it's natural - "the guys" were around each other practically whole tale sounds like a backwoods blood feud - kind of like the Hatfields and the McCOYs I must sat Tully's plan to "protect Hitch" was way too complex to carry out - obviously it only got Hitch shot anyway. Frankly I lost track of Tully's thinking as he was trying to explain his plan to Hitch. Even the sergeants lost track of the plan. Hitch had some great lines: "you don't have any more crazies at home?" Next time could you give me a "signal" if anything like this happens again? Then these 2 idiots argued over who saved Hitch's life! "stop being pig headed and trying to go it alone". As much as I love Tully, I can see why he never rose past being a private. Great story! |
suzie2b chapter 2 . 4/19/2017 Great story! Just what I needed this morning. Thanks. I'm saving your other story for later. |
Brosmom chapter 2 . 4/19/2017 Thanks for the second chapter, it did make things a lot plainer. This is an excellent story. |
tullyfan chapter 1 . 4/18/2017 GREAT LAST 2 LINES. I'm GOING TO TRY TO LEAVE CHAPTER 2 FOR TOMORROW. I MAY GET UP AT 3:00 AM HOWEVER AND RUSH TO THE COMPUTER. I ALWAYS LIKE HOW YOU PORTRAY THE GUYS AS HUMAN BEINGS - (ignore caps) they all have strengths and weaknesses. I knew right away this argument was a set up and although obviously I am a Tully fan, your plot and characters were just right - Hitch to be the victim and "kidnapee" due to some long festering problem from the backwoods of Kentucky, sprawling into North Africa. Tully coming up with some complicated plan to protect his friend which of course backfired Your plot had lots of suspense and I'm not going to guess at the story in chapter 2 unless Grady's friends want revenge. Who is Carrie Sue? a sister? girlfriend? So I have to wait (maybe) 24 hours to read the exciting chapter 2. Lets hope Hitch stays healthy in chapter 2 - he had enough Injuries in chapter one to last a lifetime. |
twobrothers chapter 2 . 4/18/2017 Great story! I love the relationship between all the members of the Rat Patrol, but particularly Hitch and Tully. Thanks for writing. |
equine02 chapter 1 . 4/18/2017 Great job! Intriguing, and as always, a very enjoyable read! Love all the guys, I'm still not sure which one I like most... Ugh, so difficult to choose my fav... So I guess I won't:-) love em all! |
churchlady63 chapter 1 . 4/18/2017 Great story. Poor Hitch, getting slammed like that by Tully and not having a clue as to why. Then getting shot to boot. Love how the 'cavalry' showed up in the nick of time and Tully got to explain and make things right. Don't know why he'd think Hitch wouldn't trust him again; if anything what he did should make Hitch trust him even more. |
Brosmom chapter 1 . 4/18/2017 Good one. I couldn't imagine what Hitch could have done to upset Tully so. Grady was a real psycho. |
