Is this it? Interesting idea. I hope, the next morning once they get home, Lizzy goes to her father, apologizes for what she will do. Then she will go upstaira, drag the hungover Lydia out of bed, twist her arms behind her back and bend her over to give her at least a dozen good smacks. That would certainly be the sisterly thing to do. Then she might say she would dearly love do the same for her mother but that that is something their father should take care about. Oh and congratulate Mrs Bennet for scaring Jane's suitor away.
I mean for once why couldnt Lizzy loose her temper. Less embarrassing that wrestling with Lydia in a ballroom.

I was expecting to know what happened after the incident at the ball. However, this chapter was interesting and hilarious at some point. I like the way you tried to capture Mr. Darcy's inner thoughts. My poor sweet! He seems so confused and he really doesn't how his life will change after the ball.
