| velvetSunset chapter 19 . 7/5/2019 Well this is the third time I'm rereading this story and I still love it. I love the plot of it. It's not something overused and is actually entertaining. I find myself readig it not only because it's a Godric story, but because it's genuinely gripping. I love the characters and their realism. I feel emotionally invested and rooting for them. Also I appreciate your historical references. Personally I think it gives this story more depth. I really hope you will continue this story because I think it has great potential and I greatly enjoy reading it. Thank you for your work. |
| Shirjka chapter 19 . 6/29/2019 Okay so there's that anon who left you mean unconstructive reviews and I feel the need to speak up. First of, there are indeed some spelling/grammar mistakes but they are very minor and while that kind of mistake usually irks me... well this story is interesting enough to keep me going! I love Winn, who is strong and determined despite being a human in a world of vampires. Having a vampire save her is to be expected and she'd be a bit unrealistic if she could deal with everything on her own... I really want to see that mystery with the book resolved, The Vampire dealt with and the tension between Godric and Winn... satisfied, let's say? I wish there was a bit more banter between Winn and Eric as there was in previous chapters but it's alright, I just hope you'll continue :) |

She’s exhausting to deal with... she is rightfully mistrustful of vampires, but she lets her hatred blind her actions. She knows Godric’s advise is sound, but she can’t let him win, she must contend, even if deep down she knows he’s correct. She’s in a world she doesn’t understand, yet she refuses his help and advices, thinking she knows best... like that library was just a library and the witch was just a kind old lady named Glinda. It’s difficult to like such a stubborn and dangerously arrogant person. |
