Very well done! I’m not a huge fan of crossovers but have enjoyed a few of the Homes/Potter examples, though those are typically in the Sherlock universe so somewhat less Doyle-esque than I would desire. This, however, could be fit into that ever-expanding collection of ‘pastiches’ that truly capture the style of Doyle. It’s not just the word usage or grammar, but a...feel...to the writing. It is not an easy thing to get in even short doses, but to continue it through a whole story must be extremely challenging...I applaud your efforts, as this was quite well done! Above and beyond that, it was a just a good story, even if the Mary part at the end was a bit of Deus Ex Machina and I’d have appreciated a little more praise for John’s role at the climax (well, since it is from his perspective it could be understood he’d downplay it a bit).

Hmmm...had a thought...Kreacher helped get Sirius killed, and you theorized that it was Bella...that could mean that Kreacher can access her vault. I think Sherlock would make that connection...

I usually wait until I’ve completely read a story before commenting, but felt I need to make a few remarks here about your ‘Story of Severus Snape’ chapter...it’s just excellent. It is such a perfect breakdown of the dichotomies in that character. He’s not fully evil, but nor is he very good at all. But to have it written out in such a reasonable way (meaning someone reasoning their way through his history)...it’s just very well done. You’ve also captured the flavor of Doyle’s writing extremely well...the first chapter felt like a real Doyle Sherlock story, actually. Very well done!

Oh wow, this was fun. I love the way you blended Sherlock, John and Mary into the storyline, and yup, it's amazing what a little logical thinking can do to shorten a quest line. I loved the bit of the duck tape and the gun while dealing with Snape. And Dobby popping in to check on Harry and take out Bella and whoot! Go John! And yay! Everyone lives happily ever after. Great job here, I really enjoyed the fic.

I don't think so. This is Europe with its very irregular blocks, we don't measure distance in them. Say a distance, say time needed to get there, but not number of blocks, that's an Americanism (or an Australianism or whatever).

This is a much more satisfying ending than canon. I was waiting for them to find put Shirley is a muggleborn but I like what you did with Mary more. Thanks for exceeding my expectations! Great job.
