I like the idea of Percy setting sail and going to see the Ironborn. Of course, he's likely to either have to kill them all to free their thralls, or convince them that he's the son of the Drowned God and proclaim a new way of life. Then he can go sailing all over Westeros and take down pirates all over the place.

This is so goooood! keep writing. I'm excited to see where this ends up. I would also like to see Riptide in action at some point. Maybe it works in this world? Maybe it becomes sentient and a connection between Percy and his world?

First off Percy's insistence to say things common in his culture sounds stupid. He doesn't adapt and learn to keep his background hidden. This ties in to the tone of the PJ series and how you are carrying it over here. They don't mix. Here in westeros it's brutal, bad living standards, sprawling crime, constant death, ect. True the Greeks weren't kind, but percy didn't have to see rape and needless death as it isn't as common as here. So I think carrying that tone undermines a lot of the story potential. Like percy can be kind and merciful, but brutal too, as long as he learns and acknowledges this world. It has potential as Percy is a gods son, so seeing this puts a smile on my face.

Also, I don’t believe Camp Half Blood is located at Montauk. The only description ever given for its location is the north shore of Long Island, and as Montauk is part of the east side of Long Island, as well as in the books always being mentioned with distinction as a separate place from the Camp since it’s the Jackson’s family vacation spot, I don’t believe they are one and the same.

Ah, isn’t Peleus a dragon? You know, the guardian of the Golden Fleece once it was hung on Thalia’s Tree? So hasn’t Percy seen a dragon before?
