I can't beleive that I read this fanfic ans did not leave a comment to let you know how much it impacted me.
When we start the story, we wander why it is named 'VIGILANCE', but we get rapidly taken by the adventures of the characters who are all so loveable. It's rare for me to like all the characters in a fic, so great job!
By the way, I really liked May who was such an inspiring woman. She didn't deserve to die!
The ending is way too much unexpected, but then we remember the title of the fic and we know that we should have stayed "VIGILANT"!

Hey ... I want to cry now. It is depressing ... Really. Why did you do that ! May was cool ans nice ! She did deserve everything but such a fate ! Oh god! I want to find you know and make you eat every single page of this fanfic to punich you for what you did to her!
