I can’t believe I haven’t seen this story before! I’m a pretty regular follower of the HPxFMA fandom, but I hadn’t seen your story until recently. I’m glad I did find it because, despite the fact that it seems like a pretty basic plot so far (not in a bad way, just that I’ve read many stories similar to this [and have enjoyed many of them]), there is something different about it that I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe it’s the characterization or the seamless flow or even the small details, but I couldn’t stop reading.
Your grammar and punctuation are near perfect considering the formatting and technical problems it seems like you’ve had and that’s a welcome relief from all the poorly written stories I’ve read in the past.
I’ve seen that you’ve edited quite a few, if not all of the chapters and since I haven’t read the original, I can’t say if this version is any better, but I hope you’ve found that you’ve written a story you can enjoy writing and be proud of because I certain enjoyed reading it!

Now a Little Question I was confused why your Story listed as completed at first I thought you have abandonned it and that this was the last chapter you would post. It would be a Little early into this fic, that you would create a Sequel.

Listen I'm not doing words so good today but this is a strong start and McBoatalot? Is possibly my most favorite thing. Goddamn I love fan fiction. Finally, representation for the actual ridiculous shit humans do

Wow. I'm just so amazed at finding another great crossover story and with a good plot too!
Ed seems spot on in character wise, and I'm happy he's not perfect at everything like some other stories do, where Ed is thrown into another world he has no idea of understanding, and yet he learns the language in a matter of days and is perfect with all spells and blah, blah..so this only makes me enjoy your story even more! I love how he had to figure out how his alchemy worked in another world, and now he can use both, alchemy and magic and kick ass at the same time, like he did in the park, was it four men against one? I loved that. Anyway, I think this story is amazing so far and I just can't wait to read the next chapter!
And for Ed to be in hogwarts. Thank you for sharing such an amazing story with us!

I really like this story so far-I know you worry you might be messing up the characters, but I think you've done a solid job so far. Like, Ed would absolutely transmute a giant Al-replica for his room in those circumstances. He'd probably talk to it too. And I don't think he'd linger on his memory loss-I imagine he'd file it away for later, assuming he's been concussed and mostly forgetting about it until he discovers that Memory Charms are a thing. The only thing that seems weird is that Tom lets Ed stay for no charge, though I'm guessing it might be explained later. My two top theories are that Ed reminds him of his son so he decided to help OR somebody took notice of Ed's attempts at "magic" in Muggle London and is covering the charges so they can keep a better eye on him. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Ed's attempts at actual magic (and trying to fake his way through wizarding culture without knowing hardly anything about it, lolol).
