Francis Burke chapter 5 . 11/11/2019 Best story ever! I love all the relationships between characters! Talia is my favourite character from Justin and the Knights of Valour! Talia is the character I love because in some stories, I like Talia fighting, giving people advice and he always likes everyone else. Talia is the best girl ever |
Guest chapter 23 . 8/18/2019 This story is awesome! Talia is my favourite character ever! |
C chapter 27 . 5/4/2019 This chapter was delightful! This was a perfect way to end this story! Though a bit shorter than some of your other chapters, this one is as beautifully written and creative as always. The dark beginning with the villains was so well written it actually gave me chills. I also liked the quiet interactions between Hiccup and Eret in this chapter. I must admit, I was a bit surprised by the piercings and tattoos, but it really does make sense; it is a new chapter in their lives. Though I wasn't as surprised by the bit about the wand, I was sad to see it go (I somehow get the feeling it isn't the last we will see of it...). But just because it was a tad saddening doesn't mean I don't think it was an excellent choice (I find that you always seem to make the best decisions on how the story proceeds; more proof that you are a truly incredible writer). 'Twas a bit odd (though it does seem fitting) that Eret allowed children to get piercings and tattoos but refuses to allow them to drink; I guess he had to draw the line somewhere. I am glad that Hiccup knows a bit about what is going on with his friends (and I would be interested to see your thoughts on choosing what they would be the Guardians of), and it was heartwarming to see him send the Furies to watch over his friends. This entire story was simply breathtaking, and I can never thank you enough for your hard work, dedication, and incredible kindness. I hope you have a delightful day, a wonderful week, and a marvelous month. You are amazing *happy Night Fury warbles*(I guess Toothless wanted to join Astrid and Hiccup in the farewell.) |
C chapter 26 . 5/4/2019 This is... breathtaking. Your writing is always fantastic, but something about this chapter is just indescribably beautiful. The struggle these four are facing after the loss of Hiccup is staggeringly well written. The first section about Jack nearly had me in tears (funeral scenes and gravestone visits are my emotional weaknesses). Despite the fact that I know Hiccup isn't really gone, I could really understand the way these characters felt. It is almost like Hiccup was the glue of their group (though I imagine the loss of any of the four would have a similar effect) and now they don't know what to do, but they are trying. You have written such natural but strong connections between these characters. Also, I was a bit surprised by your song choice for this chapter, but I think it was perfect (I had been wondering if you liked Kingdom Hearts, based on your incredible abilities regarding writing cartoon crossovers. Have you actually played them?). (Sorry, that was a bit off-topic). Honestly, you have done such an outstanding job on this chapter that I hardly know what to say. I wish I had the ability to explain how truly spectacular I find you and your writing to be. Thank you for another incredible chapter. You are amazing. P.S. Thank you so much for another wonderful and sweet response to my review (and thank you for the early chapter!). I must admit, I generally don't much care for characters that are so much like OCs, but I think that might be because I haven't found anyone else who writes them even half as well as you do. Your characters all add to your stories, whereas OCs in other stories seem to take something away from the story itself. I am so glad you chose to write this story the way you did. Also, I am eager to see your expansion on the idea of Hiccup's prosthetic, and I am glad to know that I am not the only one who thought Gobber's construction of the leg and flying rig (as well as Hiccup's immediate flight after awakening from a coma) was a tad bizarre. You don't have to stop at a half-rant if you don't want to; I imagine your full blown rants are likely spectacular and very fascinating to read. You are still so amazingly sweet, and I am so glad that you still enjoy my reviews. Thank you again, and I hope you have a delightful day, a wonderful week, and a marvelous month~ |
zina-shipper-2016 chapter 27 . 5/4/2019 Oh my god I love it all! I finally caught all up with this! I read the last few chapters in one big chunk because I forgot my password and wow I was in a state of shock! You are a perfect writer! Now everything that I've thought of (in no particular order, I'm writing them out as they hit me): - Jack and the others are probably going to be so mad when they see Hiccup again. All this year they were clinging to the hope of finding him again and now they've accepted he's dead. I really think that when they meet up they're going to be so mad at him for it, then they'll feel relief then happiness. Jack especially might be feeling really betrayed. - I really don't think that they're going to meet up again until the beginning or middle of their seventh year. And that's only because they're going to need to have several long talks about how they're feeling and the events that happened just before and after Hiccup disappeared. Hiccup needs to talk to them about how he felt at times and what happened with the Guardians. And they need to tell him about what they went through after he disappeared and how they felt. - Do the Guardians actually believe that's what happened? Or is it just a tale they're telling to get the other three on their side? They might have been 'hoping for the best' but it seems like they, bar Bunnymund, never really tried to help Hiccup with his insecurities either. And they underestimated Hiccup. And they were arguing about having Jack kill Hiccup that night and one shot a killing curse at him! It seems like they never tried to help Hiccup and went straight to murder. Do they actually believe the dragon story or was that just fabricated? They're telling a sugarcoated version of what happened and I want to see their house of cards come crashing down. - I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get Bunnymund's pov but hopefully next year? Right now he's the only Guardian I actually like. - I really think that Emma is going to be the first one to reunite with Hiccup. They do have a close bond. After all, Emma was the only one who knew about Toothless so she might be more suspicious about the dragon killing him story and even less likely to accept it, Hiccup used the nickname Emma gave him for his new identity and she is really the only one to still believe he's alive. I think it would be a nice twist to have the two of them reunite first. - Also because Emma knows about Toothless is there a chance she might accidentally let a detail slip about him. Even something innocent like Hiccup having a pet named Toothless. After all emotional times could cause her to let something accidentally slip out, possibly during an argument with someone (Jack, Astrid, Guardians) over believing Hiccup's dead? - I can't wait for Stoick and everyone else on Berk to get wind that Hiccup's alive! Stoick and Gobber seem to have lost a part of themselves when Hiccup disappeared and according to Astrid Berk isn't the same. They're realising too late what they had and lost kinda? I think I'm more excited for his and Hiccup's reunion then the rest of the Big Four! And just like with them, father and son both need to have a long conversation with each other for once. Neither one is solely responsible for the breakdown of their relationship but a lack of communication was a major factor. A long talk is definitely needed. Like just imagine the two of them going at it finally yelling at each other and getting the things off their chests. I imagine it would go kinda like: Hiccup and Stoick arguing about Hiccup running away and training the dragons. Hiccup yelling that him leaving was the best thing he had ever done for Berk as he was nothing but a nuisance in their eyes and brings up all the things they called him over the years. Stoick saying that's not true, but Hiccup interrupting that nobody would have missed him. Stoick finally roaring that he missed him and finally admitting his fears about losing Hiccup and how thinking he was dead was the worst thing that ever happened to him, telling Hiccup how much he loves him. Hiccup finally admitting that all he wanted was to make him proud of him. And Stoick admitting he is. You'd do it much better, I'm just laying our the bare bones here. All Hiccup really wants I think is to be accepted by his people and to make his dad proud. In HTTYD 1 that was a major factor in his arc. - Hiccup throwing his wand away here after what Eret said seems like a metaphor for letting go of everything in his previous life. Berk, his family, his friends. He loved all of them even if he wasn't sure he deserved the love or if they loved him at all. Now by throwing away the wand it seems like a symbol that he's setting them all free. Maybe eventually in the next or seventh book when he's in a really difficult situation like he's stranded with no one to help him and he can't think of a way out, he comes across the wand again? Proof that he does have a place in the wizarding world? Or it washes up on Berk or on the shores of Hogwars lake where one of his family and friends finds it and recognises it and eventually returns it to Hiccup when they meet again? Proof that the things he loved were always his to have? - Tremaine and Frollo are still in power, pity. When can they get booted off? - Oh I really love Eret's, Hiccup's and Talia's realtionship! They know Hiccup (kinda Eret still has a few blanks) and they accept him, assuring him he's not a monster and help give him the strength he needs to fight. And Eret giving him the choice of whatever name he wants to go by! Which one will he pick, Cat or Hiccup? And Eret being a protective older brother by not letting them drink! - Oh I love the little dragon furys Hiccup sent after his friends to protect them! I think its so cute! Will they be protecting them from Pitch kinda like wisps or the dream sand? - Oh I just remembered that Talia and Hiccup are still pirates aren't they? I'd love to see their leader skills in action! Like say Eret gets captured by I don't know, Alvin or Dagur or maybe even Stoick and they have to organise a rescue. Or maybe even Viggo. We haven't heard of him and I was kinda expecting too. Maybe next book? - Oh I do not want to be Dagur when Stoick gets wind of what happened that lead to Hiccup losing a leg. I think the real reason he didn't tell anyone about Hiccup is because he doesn't want to face a raging Stoick if he heard of what Dagur actions did to Hiccup. That and he wants a round two against Hiccup. Ok I think thats everything. Quite a long list I'm so sorry. Can't wait for book six! |
Acecove chapter 27 . 4/17/2019 I absolutely love your work. I do hope that Hiccup and the others get a happy ending. You literally made me cry when the three believed Hiccup is dead, it’s so sweet how they are becoming guardians so they can protect people, I honor of Hiccup. For Hiccup. Though I do have a question. Who is Talia Eagle? At first I thought Percy Jackson was one of the fandoms, thinking at first it was Thalia, and you were just spelling it wrong. And her last name is Eagle, which is a symbol of Zeus. Jason, as Jason Grace. And you did mention an Eris, which I thought was Goddess of discord. But in one of your answers, if I remember correctly, Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus isn’t one of the fandoms. So, yeah. Anyways, sorry for the long post. And keep going. You’re doing amazing. You’re stories are Rocking Awesome, and I would probably go crazy if you didn’t continue. Sorry for the long review. |
Mei1395 chapter 26 . 4/14/2019 Oh, never mind the question in my last review. Just reread that part " |
Eris chapter 27 . 4/14/2019 Awesome chapters and epilogue. So exciting and fascinating. Will Emma go search for Hiccup or something that she knows she will need (her Prophecy Ball showed it)? Could you let the real Monkey King Sun Wukong appear. I don’t like the wrong Monkey King, he is only a transformed cruel human, so maybe Sun Wukong could have a grudge against him and help Hiccup and the Crew on their Journey. Also other mythological beings like Hydras, Sphinxes, Jinns / Djinns / Genies, Yōkais (Kitsune, Kappa, ...), Spirits / Ghosts or others could appear on Hiccups journey? That would be very fascinating and interesting. Please update soon. |
Raxacoricofallapatoreous chapter 27 . 4/13/2019 Oh my gods, I just can't form the words to explain how much I have become attached to this story! It is my favourite fanfiction ever! By a LARGE margin! And now there's going to be a new book. AND IT'S COMING OUT ON STAR WARS DAY! I can't stress enough how much I m looking forward to this! |

Mei1395 chapter 27 . 4/13/2019 Awe, it's over... for now. This was beautifully written and I loved every chapter of it. Can't wait to see what you have planned for in the next installment, but I'll be there when it comes out. Though, I am a little confused about the Emma part in chapter 26. Did she leave? You left me so curious about so many things it almost hurts. |
Drago1404 chapter 27 . 4/13/2019 wow that was Amazing and now I have Another reason to look forward to star wars day |
C chapter 25 . 4/7/2019 That was incredible! You have done a truly spectacular job with this chapter. The beginning was so intense, and despite the fact I knew (vaguely) what would happen, I was still on the edge of my seat. Talia's perspective at the beginning of the chapter was fascinating; the incite into how highly she thinks of Hiccup and how much losing him would effect her was an excellent addition. Your integration of Talia and the BlueBlazer crew into theses scenes was perfect. The interactions between the characters (especially Hiccup and Toothless) were also interesting and well written. As twisted as it may seem, I am glad that you stuck with the movie in regards to the loss of Hiccup's foot (I always found it was an interesting tie between rider and dragon, and that it became an important part of Hiccup's character (especially because he never let it hold him back)). I also liked seeing the 'Coming Back Around' scene from Hiccup's perspective (it shows more depth than can really be shown in a movie). Starting Hiccup with a basic peg-leg and materials to rebuild Toothless' flying rig was also quite interesting, because it makes sense that the pirates would probably not be expert blacksmiths, and it allows for Hiccup to move on in his own creative way (also, it kept him from jumping onto a dragon immediately after waking up from a coma, which I always found a bit odd). This chapter went from incredibly tense and potentially tragic to cheery and hopeful; that was a delightful emotional rollercoaster of a chapter, and I can never thank you enough for honoring all of us readers with your fantastic writing and beautiful creativity. You are amazing~ P.S. Oh my goodness, thank you so much for your incredibly kind response to my reviews! I get almost as excited for your response as I do for the chapter itself. Your are always so thoughtful and sweet. Though, I am now worried about watching the rest of "Trollhunters". I am also really looking forward to seeing more of Emma, and more about our dear Dragon Sorcerer. By the way, I didn't think your response to that other review was 'snapping' at them. 'Harshness' is difficult to assess via written response, but I thought it seemed fair (human perception can be so strange)(the fact that you thought it was a bit harsh just goes to show how kind you are, and honestly it makes me respect you even more). Actually, the "you are amazing" that I leave at the end of reviews is a reference to "Gift of the Night Fury"! I am so glad you caught that! (Though I always thought of when Hiccup says it, not Astrid (those movies have a lot of parallels in dialogue)). But I don't just say that as a reference, I really do think that you are amazing, and I hope the frequency with which I use it doesn't lessen its meaning. Thank you again for all of your kindness, and I hope you have a delightful day, a wonderful week, and a marvelous month~ |
