This is easily one of the best Winters OC stories I've read. Love Jess and her addition to the story. Also, I adore Spires but I really want Jess to send up with Winters! Arlene and Joe are too cute. it's nice to see Joe's softer side. Really, really hope you update soon!

I was soooooo excited to see this update! And what a good one it was. I'm so excited for Jessica and Winters to talk... but I'm also so excited to see more of her with Speirs. I genuinely love both of them and I have no clue who I want her to be with. And of course, it was written amazingly as always! Can't wait to see what comes next :)

Wowza what a chapter. I am so impressed with the way Ron has gone about going after Jessica. It makes me like him a lot more in this story! And poor Dick handled it so terribly. I can’t wait to see what he does next. I love any time Arlene and Jessica interact with the other men as well. The whole chapter was so well written (per usual!)

Oh boy, here we go! I actually am not mad at Ron for the way he told Jess he wants to be with her. I guess I pictured it more assertive, in a bad way, but I'm not ticked at him yet lol. Dick, on the other hand is being a booger. I 100% understand his viewpoint, and he does have a valid reason to feel insecure about Speirs, but he definitely approached it the complete wrong way. Jessica did not deserve to be spoken to like that, but I can't help but think she is probably a little smidge defensive about it since she does have some feelings for Ron still. I'm sure she feels confused and exhausted about the entire thing, and probably a little guilty as well for feeling some sort of way about someone other than Dick since she does really care for him too. I genuinely have no guess as to who will come out on top of this love triangle, and no matter how much I love my boy Speirs I have to stay in Winter's corner. I'm with Nixon on this one ;) Great chapter! I never even thought about the L pills that bad guys in WW2 movies always seem to chomp on, that was a great addition and the reactions were great. I also loved that Arlene and Jessica got to air some laundry and that the Michael situation was addresed.

I was soooo excited just seeing that you updated and now that I've read this I'm even more excited. The drama is so well written and satisfying and I'm waiting with bated breath to find out what happens when they get to Holland. Every time I get an email with your name on it I get so excited! Not too much going on yet, but the storm is definitely coming. I can feel so much tension coming from these imaginary people lol. Jessica and Ron's interaction was very interesting...I'm hoping he can at least respect whatever she comes to ask from him, but I'm sure she doesn't even quite know what to do yet. I already want to give Dick a hug lol, he is going to get his sweet little heart hurt at some point. I love Arlene's friendships with the Easy boys! I know Jessica can't really have those relationships as a Captain and she is hanging out with her fellow officers, but I'd love to see her interact more with them whenever it fits in! She and Arlene are so great together, I think the boys would have a blast with them lol. Once again, great chapter and I can't wait for things to heat up again! Holland is going to be wild I'm sure. Ahhh another one!? I'm so happy! I cannot stand how much I love Jessica's friendships. The scene with Arlene and Nixon was so freaking cute and I adore her playing with her brother. I am so so curious as to what Jessica's past includes and what she and David went through. I freaking love the Dick/Jessica fluff, but now I'm scared lol. I may be paranoid but I'm so scared that they are experiencing their good times now and that they won't have any left later. And I love them so I'm stressed lol, I have a problem. Tell me to just enjoy the fluff while it lasts, because the war and Speirs are lurking around the corner to shake things up. I really just want Dick Winters to be happy because he is an angel lol. Yay I am so happy you updated! I was missing Jessica and Arlene and their drama ;) though Jessica is probably going to get most of the drama for now huh? This chapter was awesome! I freaking love what a badass Jessica is, I read that scene where she puts the replacements in their place without a word like 5 times lol. It's so cute that everyone was on standby to kick their asses though haha. And once again, I FREAKIN LOVE DICK WINTERS AND HIS POSSESSIVENESS WAS HELLA HOT. I totally get Jessica's meaning that on anyone else, being possessive and jealous is unattractive but damn Winters makes it look good. I am so the captain of their ship and probably they will be endgame for me, but I know you are a good enough writer to make me think I'm changing my mind as soon as you bring Speirs back into it lol. Just remind me that I think Jess and Dick belong together next chapter when Speirs does some cute shit. I know he'll be a main player until the decision is revealed in the end, but I can't wait for Jessica to give him all kinds of shit for being a dick-idiot and for Richard to have to resist knocking him out. I do hope Dick gets to punch someone for being rude to Jessica one day, I think it would make him feel better to get out the rage lol. Loved this, can't wait for the next one!
