Anyway, awesome first chapter, I really felt the emotion and impact that this is all having on Star...

I like this set up; Star is in deep sadness, but she isn't showing it to anyone (even her own mother). That is something I could see happen in the cannon show. Marco being dumbfounded and confused about everything is also a great move as well.

Hope you consider writing more chapters, as you could explore a lot with the frame-work you have set up.
