The Ron and Harmione imitating Snape part was hilarious. This is a really good concept, and I'm actually surprised Harry never snapped at him in this way. He had every right to. Someone in theory should have gone off on him. You can't constantly go around acting like Snape and expect no one to eventually hit you or something. This goes for the older kids especially. They're fully grown, and things can happen when a teacher acts inappropriately.

Hi! This is the second of your stories that I’ve read, and again, I love how you write these characters. The “wake” at the end was priceless. It’s been awhile, but if you wanted to continue this, I would love to read more! You did a great job portraying Snape’s inner conflict in the aftermath, and his concern over the glimpses he’s had into Harry’s life. Such great characterization! Thank you for writing this! Also, now that I’ve discovered this little niche of stories with Harry and Snape developing a mentorship/slightly less vitriolic relationship, do you have any recommendations, here or on AO3? The twins are the best omg. Also snape seems to be caught between being protective over Harry or tearing strips off him- I guess we’ll see which comes first
