I feel like Eventually Charlie will just lock them into a room together, honestly.

Or Wonka will eventually break, and let it slip to Charlie that he fancies his sister, and the two start to make ridiculous planes to try and woo, her, lol.

Maybe the entire family ends up in on it, lol.

Later he sees 'Slugworth' with a bandage over his head, hearing how he got it, he suddenly remember what he wanted to say to Em.

I'm so glad you're updating this story again! It's one of my favorite Wonka fics. I truly enjoy your writing style, not to mention the romance you've created between Em and Wonka. His character is wonderfully written, he has lines that feel like the Wonka we all know from the movie, and I really like Em's loyalty to her brother and family … she's a realistic character to me, which is one of the reasons I love this story so much.

I enjoyed seeing Wilkinson's interaction with everyone, especially since the tables turned since the ending of the last chapter. I liked that it picked up with Wonka realizing his slip up after Em found out for herself who Wilkinson truly was, and after a very tense reunion.

I look forward to more! :)

I absolutely love it and I am so excited that its Wilder Wonka and cant wait until the next chapter!

So... I'm normally a silent lurker... but, I've read thru your story multiple times since you first started posting and I never get bored with the re-read. I always get a lil thrill whenever wonka and Em interact.

I've read all your other reviewers as well and wanted to add my two cents on Ems character as I see it.

Em seems like a really independant adult woman who has voluntarily stayed all these years to help her family. That's a tough sacrifice to stay and be carer on that scale.

She feels the heavy weight of responsibility for everyone, then along comes wonka and turns her world upside down. She catches feelings.

Wonka is at heart a perfectionist and control freak who likes things to go according to plan. Besides the kid traps, you get hints of this when you notice his obsession with stepping into Ems space a lot, and firmly holding her hands or arm and not letting go.

Em isn't used to being in the spotlight or having someone actively wanting to make her happy as its usually what she does for others. Its unsettling her a bit and its funny to watch cuz from Ems P.O.V its always family first, never her.

Em ruins Wonkas control with the chute incident and now he loses more control whith the knowledge of mrs Beauregarde and her shenanigans. Em again steps up to defend him and he has to hide and stay quiet.

He loses more control as the family turns against him as well. He has to claw their trust back.

It's a very entertaining dynamic to read and I'm so sad its been a year since the last update. I shall simply have to imagine what happens in their future.

I like how you changed the plot and had Em falling down the chute. Oh, boy, Mr Salt is a nasty piece of work. Might want to watch out for him later, he is clearly capable of shady stuff.

I loved your descriptions of the Oompa Loompas. Very different. The two in the garbage chute scene had a hilarious dynamic. They kinda reminded me of Mario and Luigi for some reason. Don't know why.

I loved how Em kicked Wonka in the shop, and how their dynamic worked out later. I was giggling the whole time, and then Wonka gets threatened by an angry housewife and angrier father, oh and verbally abused by a bed full of oldies.
It's just not his day, is it...

I especially loved how he looked in horror at their tiny shack and insisted they all move into the factory immediately. I almost expected him to physically drag them all out. Ha ha.

Mrs Beauregard is an interesting villain in this story. I'm interested to see what you do with her.

In short, lovely story and I'm glad I dug it out and read it through again. Thanks for writing, and hopefully you will feel inspired to write again one day.
