My thoughts on the prospect of an Oregairu/The World God Only Knows crossover:
START:
Hachiman is not Keima. He is not a highly skilled veteran dating sim player. Also, in my opinion, Hachiman has more of a conscience than Keima (Keima is a VERY manipulative person to a point where he almost seems like a high-functioning sociopath at times. I am very curious of what a dynamic between him and Iroha would be like)
The crossover wouldn’t need to have the exact same overall plot-line. Instead, there could just be a story in which Hachiman is forced by necessity to manipulate, control and capture the emotions of the girls (and possibly grown women) around him.
He’d HATE something like that. He’d loathe every single minute of it. Imagine him having to actively and knowingly pursue romance/love with the Oregairu female characters one by one, with each one losing their memories of the experience afterward (or not…)
Sagami. Ebina. Yumiko. Meguri. And the four who actually love him, and whom he’d find the most painful to knowingly court.
…Komachi. Yes. Any writer who goes there, Hachiman at that point may contemplate suicide.
Finally, it CANNOT be lust. It HAS to be strong feelings/emotions of love and devotion; wanting to be with Hachiman permanently.

Also, Michiru is a useless character who adds nothing to the series in my opinion. No wonder the anime left her out of most of it. Also, the fourth-wall breaks in the anime are hilarious.

Also, in a law enforcement agency, Hachiman would probably be willing to conduct illegal/unauthorized surveillance and wiretaps and then later pass off the intel as having come from a confidential informant, while Yukino likely wouldn’t.

This is an incredible accomplishment considering that Yui in Sobu High is not a very great student.
Also, what do the university students do on campus and/or in the city on days in which there are no classes?

I’ve noticed that in Oregairu, the only one out of Hachiman’s four love interests who is not seen shopping is Kawasaki Saki. Makes sense considering her family’s finances and that she sews her own clothes. I’m guessing that for her, being in Tokyo U is not a vacation. She’s got a family to support. For Yui, it’s to remain close to the people she loves and cares for. For Yukino, it is to maximize her education in her journey to become someone who could better the world. (looks at Iroha) …I’d say it’s to gain the qualifications necessary for a career that would serve as an effective front for any future criminal activities.

Nah, that’s just her default expression. She scowls at almost everybody. A person who is like that tends to be revealed to be someone who lives in fear.

Hachiman would disagree, having told Shizuka that the reason she is unmarried is because most men nowadays do not have good taste in women.

A lot of women are, actually. Guess that’s one similarity between men and women. By the way, even to this day, there are people both male and female who are HORRIFIED at the thought of it being possible for women to have sexual fantasies. Even as recently as the 70s, society treats it like something that one ought to be shocked to hear about. (shrugs) What, like women can’t have libidos like men do?
Being in university would open up story-opportunities that would not be available in a high school environment. It’s why I wish more animes would have university-stories instead of high school ones.

Just from this I can see that your new story is gonna be good. Their interactions made me hype to see how the other crossover characters will interact with Hachiman.

…hm, now there’s a thought; Hachiman in this story may feel that the other women aside from the aforementioned four are just trying to get closer to him due to misplaced perceptions and/or their own issues and problems with their own love interests as well as themselves.
It may also boost the egos of Yui, Yukino, Kawasaki and Iroha to see Hachiman refusing advances from multiple women throwing themselves at him, though I’d say Hachiman is NOT immune to seduction. He’s a straight guy, after all.
