The creepiness in this was great! The subtle build of the tension followed by the grand reveal of whatever the heck that monstrosity was was done really well. I don't think the two of them will go traipsing in abandoned mansions for awhile now! XD

Awesome work overall. You've definitely proven with this that you have a knack for writing eerie little stories centered around the paranormal, so if you feel the need to write some more then by all means! Hope you do more!

This was a very fun ghost story. I was beginning to think that Fangmeyer wasn't able to make it. You did a great job in portraying the overall feeling of a haunted, old, rickety home and described it very well. It made the story very fun to read as I could much more easily see what the scenes looked like in my mind. Great work!
