I’ve just binge-read this whole fanfic after stumbling upon it. Really good! Can’t wait for more.

So I just burned through this entire fic in like the last two days and OMG its everything I ever wanted! I’ve had a vague idea in my head of a story where Sec lives and either travels with the Doctor or forms his own merry band of misfits from other killer species, but I never wrote a bit of it down. But now to see a story that is like EXACTLY what I’ve always wanted (right down to Sec’s companions, for lack of a better term, being a Weeping Angel and a Cyberman) has me over the moon with happiness! Like it is crazy how close some of the elements in this fic are to what I’ve always fantasized about and I am so damn excited to see where this goes and what more you have in store! Keep it up! This is everything I ever wanted and it is AMAZING!

Amazing how Sec is still such a warrior, ready to shoot some bad guys :"D Kathy still has not the easiest life, she's that one member of a crew who has a clear appearance of an enemy race. Not sure how to solve that problem, so far only her definitely not robotic behaviour saves her. And Clare, ooh, i can imagine her becoming some sort of ambassador as well, Angel of peace... you know, they're a small, but still an amazing crew! When Clare said that they're a group of travellers trying to change the world for the better, i squeaked, i have a weakness for this concept!
And, again, i see it's only a start, looking forward to see more adventures on Guiding Wind! (Lol, i really like such a name for a ship)

This has gotta be one of the best DW Fanfics I’ve read in a long while; I was just searching for a story about Dalek Sec after watching the two parter of the 3rd Series of DW.

The eight months were worth it!

Poor Kathy, indeed, her situation felt extremely familiar. Good that Sec and Clare understood what's wrong, since they also know what is it to be lonely and altered by some causes, i'll never stop love them.

I think i said earlier that i headcanon them as a family? Goddammit, they are actually family now, no matter what Kathy says. I still can't get over Sec being "Dad-ish", it caught me unaware, A for that! (Technically, he tried to become "dad" for a whole new race, so it shouldn't have been so unexpected but i still make surprised happy noises)

Love the upgrade thing. It feels kinda scary, but follows how this team uses/learns to use their natural or acquired features. Wonder what else could be upgraded and glad to know language barrier between The Exceptionals became lower.

Another A for mention about the casing, at some point i started worrying about it too much xD for real tho, it's too good piece of alien tech and something tells me it still can be used.

I saw the update and I was like "YES!"

I almost rolled my eyes at Sec, yep, dad jokes. I felt for Kathy, it's not easy losing someone you care about, but eventually, you learn to love, but always remember. Great chapter! Love it!

First of all, I’d like to say that as a hardcore fan of the daleks and the Cult of Skaro, I have read probably every single Dalek Fanfiction that’s been posted, but this one is, hands down, the BEST fanfiction I have ever read. EVER.

The Cult of Skaro are my absolute favorite characters in any fandom; they have a very special place in my heart, Sec especially. Gotta love those sassy space boys. I’m glad to see there are others that share my love for them. On top of that, it was so nice to see Sec actually have a chance to explore what it is to have emotions, because I feel like canon sort of robbed us of that beautiful arc that could’ve been. I’m glad someone saw it.

In terms of structure, this is perfect. Absolutely brilliant.

The chapters are marvelously well written, and of considerable length. Each one blended seamlessly with the others, and contributed so much to the plot.
Speaking of the plot! HOOO BOY. BEAUTIFUL. Each arc was so beautifully executed, this read like a prize-wining novel. And who says fanfiction isn’t real writing!?

The characters, too; they were all in character to a T. That was also totally awesome. The character development was wonderful and refreshing to read as well. And the references to the Seventh Incursion Squad and battling the mechanoids, had me fangirling so hard. It’s so awesome when people do their research!

I loved litterally everything about this fic, everything was so beautifully done and I could tell that you all spent so much time and put so much into it. Your work is absolutely fantastic!

As a hardcore Dalek fan, and lover of good art, your piece has brought me so much joy, I litterally could not stop reading. It took me three days to finish the whole thing between classes, but I loved every second of it.
This is truely a masterpiece, and I’m so glad I found it. You’re all fantastic writers, and I thank you for writing this awesome fic. Thank you for making my year, and blessing the fandom with such awesomeness! Wonderful, brilliant work. Never stop making good art :)
