I thought this was a very amusing story. I honestly expected that Harvey would mess up when cooking and end up with an inedible disaster. However, it was a pleasant surprise when he cooked a dish that Ingrid loved.

I loved that Mandy and Ian wanted to help Harvey with his cooking. It really shows how much they want to help Harvey and Ingrid with their relationship and I enjoyed how cute they found things while they were watching them.

Harvey is marvelous in this, determined to cook something for Ingrid, even though he can't cook at all. He keeps going with his cooking, even through a few difficulties. His determination pays off in the end, as he cooks something Ingrid loved.

Ingrid is as spunky as ever in this fic, inspiring Harvey to challenge himself. She clearly appreciates the effort he goes through for her and shows a less abrasive side as she eats what Harvey cooked her.
