Was this story posted here before? Or maybe it was another site. But the summary looks familiar.

Anyway, this story has some really neat potential, but the finish product (assuming it's a one-shot and not marked complete by accident) feels pretty lacking.

First, the basic set-up is what grabs me. I guess this takes place after the show, Hunter got back home somehow, and he even was able to bring Shadow? Would love the background on how and why all that happened, though I guess it's not completely relevant to the story, so I see the point of not going into the details on that.

I'm not familiar with "Paco", but the gist I got is that Kala is bullied a lot and it has a bad effect on her. Then Hunter goes to see her, they talk briefly, and that's it? From what we know about Hunter, I think he'd be pretty angry over the situation, and try to do something about it. He'd stand up to the bullies. And maybe that would make the situation worse, who knows? Either way, it seems like there could be much more drama. Obviously, bullying does a lot of damage to a person, and I feel like that could've been shown better. The resolution here just felt so abrupt. And, what is she being bullied about exactly? That's definitely relevant enough to be explained.
