Great story. I always enjoy these tales of Elured and Elurin, and I'm so glad that Elrond has got to know them too.

Just one question though; as Elured was bitten by that vampire, surely that would turn him into one too - or is he unaffected because she didn't have a chance to suck his blood and infect him with her venom?

So, they deftly avoided Galadriel while hiding in a tree and singing silly songs - hilarious. Although, I can't see her giving up so easily - perhaps she is bidding her time? I love the interaction with lore master Elrond and your explanation as to why no tales will be reported of the fate for Elured and Elurin. Great work!

Wow, what a way for Elrond to find out he has Uncles! I wish I could see them explaining their full story and answering Elrond's questions. Great chapter!

Very well constructed chapter! Elrond showing his warrior side, love it, and it's understandable that he wants to hang on to any relatives he can. Great characters!

Excellent chapter and premise! I like the idea that Elured and Elurin were rescued and grew up far away from Sirion and Lindon. Their humor and non-challant approach to life is refreshing especially when juxtaposed with the desperately retreating military. Funny that Celeborn doesn't recognize them - even though he last saw them when they were very little, there can't be too many half-elven twins running around. Great work!

This is an interesting idea. I like the idea of Eluréd and Elurín living with Tom Bombadil. Plus, I think this site has been really lacking in stories about the second age, so it's great that you're writing about it.
