LOVE the idea of Brennan threatening Booth's mom, and it actually makes it funnier that it was unintentional.

I know you wrote this a while ago, but I haven't been on the site for a while until recently so I'm playing catchup.

I really liked this story. I never liked Booth's mother and I loved the dialogue between the women who are protective of Booth. Well done.

Yeah wasn't a huge fan of Booth's mother. What mom doesn't try to contact her kids and then "adopts" other children on top of that?

I absolutely loved the inadvertent veiled threat against Booth's mom. I can't stand her either. Excellent story.

Hi - I LOVED this story - always thought Marianne got off lightly. Her actions in leaving her husband and not taking her sons with her and also coming to see him again after so long her little rant in his office before leaving show how selfish the character is/was. It should have been her trying to "mend fences" with her son not him making the first move because he has a good heart. Loved your portrayal of the ladies, i feel you got them really well. I'd love to read more about Marianne and hope someone could get her to realise just how much hurt her actions led to, both physical and mental. I also think although Brennan has tried to like Marianne superficially as a person - partly for Booths sake - she must also harbour some reservations knowing what Booth endured (which I'm not sure his Mum does) also when Brennan had to go on the run she couldn't leave Christine behind. Perhaps you could also turn your attention to Hannah, we never really got closure on that debacle did we? Delighted by the way you showed all the ladies in Booths life as so protective of him and can't wait to read more.

Awesome! I thought I was the only one who harbored hard feelings toward Marianne. lol I felt it again while re-watching the episode where she returned yesterday. Love the friendship of these wonderful women, the reference to Avalon's advice to Brennan, and adding "Hot Blooded" to the reception. :)

Since I first heard the words uttered by Avalon, I have loved the phrase "He knows the truth of you and is dazzled by it." I find that to be just so hopeful and full of the potential life together for Booth and Brennan. Thank you for working it into this story. I really like the idea of Caroline, Cam and Angela keeping watch over Booth (especially Caroline and Cam). To me, they are his true mothers/sisters/guardian angels. You've communicated that beautifully here.
