Why is Bella's shifting restricted to the full moon period? That doesn't really make sense based on how shifters seem to work in Twilight. She's not a werewolf... Also found it a bit too convenient that Bella bumps into Jasper in the office. Sticking to seeing the Cullens for the first time in the cafeteria seems less of a forced meeting that you threw in there for the sake of plot that comes off as too obvious rather than smooth and subtle. I also felt like you seriously rushed through the first day and didn't take any time to really flesh out Bella's character, as well as write about her processing of everything that's going on.

Why did you change the names of Bella's teachers, as well as her schedule? That doesn't seem like something that would likely happen simply as a result of her character being different from canon. I also don't see why Edward would bother actually taking the time to speak to Bella aside from a standard introduction, especially with how he and his family keep their distance from others as a rule. Although he may be curious, he's more likely to observe at first and speak to his family before speaking to her. No doubt he can smell that she's different, yet obviously Bella can't smell that he's not human. What's the point of her shifter powers only working around the full moon? Why would that even be a thing? That's a huge disadvantage and doesn't really make sense. Either she's a shifter or not, or she's a werewolf cursed to change only on full moons.

Really interesting developments with Bella's abilities. I look forward to the next update!

Awesome update! I delayed reading because I knew I'd get that "down" feeling when I reached the end of the chapter, but I couldn't resist. When I discover a story I really love, waiting in-between updates kills me. Apparently, I have no patience, lol. I don't understand WHY it took me so long to run across this, but I'm so glad I did.

I usually dont like stories that are too AU, but this one; this one I really hope you keep writing. It's really good, well written and the story line is easily believable.

Umm just gonna say - i love this story and this chapter made me cry. The part where Jess explained she was a pattern autistic just broke me. As a female autistic who doesn’t match the stereotypes so prevalent with those diagnosed with autism, specifically with noticing patterns among friends, the representation was beautiful and im so happy rn. And as an asexual too, the rep with Ang is amazing. Thank you sooo much for including those communities and I cant wait to read more!

I'm also bi ace and that description of her mom's punishments and her anxiety/paranoia are just like my mother. Wild. Also I have adhd and autism that weren't diagnosed until I was 20.
