Kobayashi would have caused a scene, her obsession gets the best of her. Something neither Elma or Tohru would like. I mean look at her reaction to Georgie the first time. Tohru would have to drag her off.

I got Volume 9 and Elma's grandmother likes maids too. Just imagine the craziness when she shows up. Telne, Tohru,Nai in one place. Poor Elma. Her loved ones making her a little uncomfortable. Especially her grandmother about cute things.

Telne, "Elma, thou showst thy respect to thine elders. And thou dres more cute. This suit not cute."

Elma just wants to bury herself from embarrassment.

I just got volume 9. Will Telne show up? She's missing out on her great grandchildren. She'll spoil them as she likes cute things. Though yeah, her odd way of speaking will make Nai giggle. "What does thou wish for thy self?" She's the only character who talks like that.

I'm surprised there isn't a Haru tries ice cream and gets brain freeze yet. Everyone has had this happen from eating ice cream too fast. Even Elma hasn't had this yet. It'll hurt for a short time, but we don't give up that ice cream do we? No. Keep eating until another brain freeze. LOL.

I feel sorry for Elma as she won't know at first what is going on.

Yep. The elderly are duped by these a lot. Elma should also ask Kobayashi on advice on this. Elma still has a lot to understand of our world and the dangers in it her world doesn't have. As Kobayashi said, this world is more dangerous.

I've heard of creeps on trains as an issue in trains. Women get targeted by this and packed in a train you don't know who it is as everyone is stuffed like sardines into a can. I heard of a woman who got away from this and a US bodybuilder near her protected her from some creep. Thankfully there have been improvements in stopping this by having women only cars on some trains. Hopefully Nai and Elma take this advice on the train next time. It's important.

Awkward. Well American Pie, the first film, has a couple scenes like this in it. Though one involves getting even with a punk and giving the punk chocolates that weren't really chocolates. The dude went in the wrong bathroom and worse ruined his reputation with the ladies he kept bragging about. No one went near him after that. LOL.

I see Wakita still friends and join Elma,Kobayashi, Tohru, etc at a party. I'm sure Elma told Kobayashi and Tohru of Wakita's temper that one time and well it resurfaces qhen Tohru asks for advice on a gift she wants to surprise Kobayashi with. Similar to Sort of Scary in Elma Volume 2. Wakita is the expert on advice to Elma, so she helps Tohru at the party, and Elma helps.

The X-men movie Logan has a scene like that when Logan meets his daughter the first time. Professor X, "Logan does she remind you of anyone?" She has her dad's rage and he's shocked speechless by it. Tohru has a moment like this from Wakita and Elma has to separate them. :)

Kanna should talk to Haru about that as she did the same thing. She regrets it now, but best she have a word. She is the big sister in a sense and has more common sense and picks up social ques easy.

Oh jeez, the cat, I just hope Tojru doesn't give the wrong medication again to Kobayashi like before. NekoKobayashi was the result the next day, cat ears and acting like a cat. :) Meow.

Lucoa arguing with Shouta? I've never seen her once, even in the manga or anime get angry once, ever. She's always happy and cheerful.

IRL, Japan is open, lockdown lifted in all, but 8 prefectures. Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido, Kyoto, and four others remain closed.

Glad it worked out. It was almost deja vu to when Kobayashi met Tohru, similar situation of missing her stop and lost in the woods.

I've heard of love hotels. They stand out like casinos in Las Vegas. Iveheard funny stories of tourists accidentally checking into them and not until they get in the room and see what is there. Too good to be true for a cheap night in a hotel only to find it's not a normal hotel. LOL.

Elma is awesome at dancing.

The only one not getting mad at this is Fafnir as he's a shut in anyway. Though Comiket canceled would anger him. And him being him would destroy those responsible.

I can see them at a rollerskating arena. A little fun out. Not to mention see Elma try this out. She has that old confidence from her first day working with Kobayashi. ",I can do human labor." Then is stumped at technology. This time it's rollerskates.

Awesome. Yeah, Sakurajima is a frequent one. A friend of mine lives near it. Ash on the garden is annoying, but helps the vegetables grow.

There are ash bathes like in Hawaii. It's supposed to be good for the skin as you relax in the warm ash. Then a mud bath made of ash. It's said to make you feel better after all that. I believe there's a place near Mount Fuji for this. Elma, Tohru, Kobayashi, and Nai visit there. There's an onsen nearby heated by the volcano. Fuji hasn't erupted since 1707.
