I LOVE this! When I read the series I loved Joe and Rachel (their relationship too), and even Abby and Matt. But after I was done I was so disappointed when I went searching for fanfiction and realized that there were so few focusing on the 'first generation'. So this story has been a godsend! Please update soon!

PS I was wondering at some point if we might get some Rachel POV? Or even (I know you're writing this chronologically, so no romantic scenes) some focused Rachel and Joe interactions?

I like how you're dancing around the romance and making it more about Joe. It's not often one sees that on here! Also, that argument with Matt and Joe was spectuacularly written, with great pacing.

The blurb with Matt, Abby, and Joe was great. I love the depth you give the backstory to Joe and Zach's meeting!

I finally got to reading this chapter~ I usually don't like filler chapters much, but I enjoyed this one. I really liked how you wrote Zach and Catherine's relationship - to be honest, I don't remember much on what it was like in the actual books, but still xD Also I kind of like how frosty Cara and Joe's relationship is now that he knows she was sort of playing him before. It just seems like character relationships are changing appropriately and I appreciate it xD I don't have much else to say since this was a shorter chapter, but I'm looking forward to the next one~

Nicely done. It's not often that us readers get an in-depth perception of Joe Solomon. Neither about Matthew and Rachel. I've been hoping to see some Joe-Zach interactions though. Also about Cammie. I hope you'll update soon :))

I'm so glad Joe finally had his confrontation with Cara; I've been waiting for him to blow up on her for a while now. xD I'm also happy Cara's starting to really question Max and the mission he's put her on. I like how this chapter felt like a real turning point for the characters and their relationships with each other, that's awesome. xD I also enjoyed reading all of the precautions Joe and Cara took to make sure they weren't followed in the first half of the chapter. You're really good at incorporating the spy techniques, Lightie. xD

I feel like every chapter you post becomes my new favorite chapter, and I really liked this one. I liked the way you characterized Matt especially, and I loved the conversation he had with Cara. "You'll be a pretty useless assassin if you're dead," is my favorite line, I think xD I also liked how everyone seems to be so interested in Zach, and how all of them appreciate how he doesn't really look or act like his mother. That conversation Joe and Matt had in his room about him was great, too. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of these character relationships progress.

I think this is my favorite chapter so far, Lightie, and I'm not really sure why? xD I just really like the way you wrote this one, and I really liked the sudden appearance of a younger Zach. I got really excited when he appeared in the fic. xD I also enjoyed your descriptions of Blackthorne, and the line about how they made their students into criminals. But the scene with Zach and Joe was definitely my favorite part of this chapter; I liked the dynamic they had going on. I'm happy you're updating so often since your chapters just seem to get more interesting as they progress. xD

I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS: 1) Okay, so Cara is so fucking badass, man, the whole Icelandic thing with Maxwell was fantastic 2) Can we please friggin' talk about the arrogant asshole - knowing he dies in the last book and was of the Inner Circle, this makes me so much more pissed to see him using agents like this 3) THE DETAILS, MAN, THE DETAILS - everything is so vivid and the technical spy lingo was fabulous. I cannot WAIT until you update!

I love being far behind in reading so I can read a bunch of chapters all at once. I never realized how much I missed Zammie until this, and I'm all angsty due to their argument in my delusional jetlagged state xD I LOVE THE SECOND SCENE - I adore how you write Abby, especially with her niece!

I feel like I should be paying attention to the fact Bobby is in here and I'm SO excited you decided to include him. As always, great job, honnnnn.

I really like all of the operation details you include in this story; it makes it all feel a little more authentic and spy movie-esque. xD I'm glad some action is happening in this chapter, I was surprised by how it turned out. xD I'm pretty interested in seeing where you take this story and what's going to happen next chapter since you left it on a cliffhanger. xD
