I am so glad I finally had the chance to read this. It was wonderful. I love your writing. Keeping us on the edge of our seats. Thank you, Sis, for another great story.

This was a roller coaster of a ride. As much trouble as they get into, you'd think they'd always have the radio and keep their weapons strapped on and maybe even travel with backup. What fun would that be though. We wouldn't have all this great fanfic to read. I'd loved to have punched Ed as well. What a weasel. He was only worried about himself. It takes a really cold person to kill someone just so they wouldn't hold them up. I was happy to see Marla come into her own. I loved how Starsky was flirting and reassuring her. You had me going for awhile. I thought no way can Hutch be dead. So glad you always bring our guys back together. I'm surprised Ed turned himself in. I guess he was more scared of what the dealers would do then jail. If he had really killed Hutch, there wouldn't be a place he could hide that Starsky wouldn't have found him. If Dr. White is a relative of Tammy's, maybe she can help nurse Hutch back to health. You do such a wonderful job with their connection. You always have me laughing with their bantering. I can tell Starsky has some making up to do. Hutch was not pleased being left behind. Thank you for sharing this with us. I love reading stories that show all sides of our guys. Their love and bond make us love them even more. I also enjoy how you show how intelligent they both are and how strong a sense of right and wrong they have. Starsky's heart was broken but he still was going to get the couple to safety. Hutch bleeding and in shock, still came to support his partner. I do think the hurt/ anger of being left behind helped him accomplish it. Even being with them such a short time Marla recognized their connection. When she said, "There is a connection between the two of you that I saw break.",my heart constricted. I loved Hutch's response with, "We will be, don't worry." I loved that Hutch reached out and took her hand. I love that he touches and is hands on. Marla slipping out the door as they argued, knowing they weren't really arguing was perfect. I loved it my friend. Looking forward to your next one.
