I love this AU, but I wonder if there's a sequel somewhere. There are a lot of things left unanswered and it seems ripe for more stories. Now, my only knowledge with a Sentinel or Sentinel-like AU comes from the FF story "Between the Dust, Rocks, and Sky There was You" by Elyria7 so I don't know a lot, but this story raises several questions for me:

Did the US Marshals find their mole? Whatever happened with the guy who wrote the info Josiah found about Sentinels and Guides? Is a Guardian the same as a Sentinel? Is it something different? Was the assassin a rogue Sentinel or is Guardian something different altogether? How does Vin become ATF and how effective is he? I'm wondering because Vin was rendered helpless and ineffective a couple different times when sensory overload threw him into a zone. Was that because this was brand new for him? Because Chris was too far away to anchor him? Also, sometimes he was okay to be touched, other times it hurt him; is it again a matter of having zoned that made that happen and something that will stabilize once he has practice and experience working with a Guide?

Anyway, this is a fascinating M7 ATF AU, and I would love for this to be the first story in a series.

What a fun, awesome story! Once I started reading, I couldn't stop - and have the pissed off animals waiting for the feed to prove it. I loved Peso charging in and saving the day, though wasn't Vin hurt with a knife slash across the chest? I was curious to see what Chris's reaction would be if Vin were to be physically injured, but nothing came of it. Of course, you could fix that and write a continuation of this wonderful M7 ATF AU. I know I would certainly read it!

FYI: I see you updated your profile earlier this year and say there's a web address to your personal page but there's no such address/link on the profile page. So, if you do have another story in this AU in your private page, I'd love to read it but need an address to find it. You have to put spaces between words and spell out dot and com, etc...

This is wonderful. Two of my fav worlds always mix very well. I'm happy I got to read all at once. Had a wonderful time.

Wonderful story. I hope you decide to continue to write in this universe. After all, Brambilla is still on the loose, with only Alex left alive as a witness. And we also have to find out how Vin will integrate in team 7, And then there's always a meeting with Blair and Jim... The possibilities are endless. :)

Great ending. I could see the fight in my mind so clearly. Another piece of good writing. But you know of course this calls for a sequel!

But yay, Vin was brought out of his zone by Chris and they're finally all able to get some rest and recuperation for their collection of injuries. I'm sure Chris will have no trouble adding Vin to the team and they will only get better as their bond matures.
