WTF? That’s it? The end? NOOOOOOOOO! There’s still so much more to tell. So many more questions to be answered. I once told a friend “I’d rather see a ‘to be continued than a the end anyway.’ This story is it!
I have read a many hurt/comfort fan fiction (and wrote some as well back in the day), but never have I read anything like this one. OMG you don’t pull any punches with the emotions. You had me crying - constantly - even when Dickie said he wasn’t going to cry anymore, I was like, fine you won’t, but I will/am! It took me days to read this. When I was at work all I thought about was this story and couldn’t wait to get back home to read more. I think that’s the biggest compliment I can give. A story that just won’t leave you.
This is a story that I would make a copy of (if that’s possible? I’m new to this online fiction thing) and I would be rereading and rereading and rereading forever more!

So, I was wondering, if you ever go back to writing this fic, about Dickie butchering the English language. Will this world’s Dick have done it previously? And once Dickie is a little bit more settled, will he start something like that? It would be interesting to watch the bat family’s reactions to something like that.

This is such a fascinating story. I love it, but I will not lie to you, I started this story because of Jasonbeing one of the main characters but I stayed because of the intriguing plot and Dickie being an adorable lil twerp. I love the idea of both of them bonding, but I've honestly loved how you've characterized everyone so far. Stephanie and Dickie are fascinating and so precious while I love that both Dicks are getting along. I am also crying in amusement of how many times you had to write the word Dick'. Also Little Dick and Big Dick was one of the best jokes Ive heard about Dicks name.

I clicked on this story randomly from the updated feed, and didn't realize it was you until like three chapters in. I love this so much! A lot of Batman stories end up really dark (for obvious reasons), but this one balances it out with this nice optimism. I like the domesticity, all the cute scenes, and the banter, as well as how you deal with all the nightmares and stuffs. Thanks for sharing!

i just wanted to say that i love this very very muchi ADORE all the family vibes so much (and the way you've described dick's ptsd, and jason's issues, omg i just imagine dick and bruce bonding (more) over having their partners dying then not coming back the same bc. it would hurt. and. their would be comfort too. i also can't wait for them to react to dick's hair (i kinda imagined a more daring colour choice but i guess with all the bat stuff...and HOODLUM?! I am so in love with that concept, so so in love).

Please update! I miss you, maybe explore Grayson and Dickie’s differences some. Hacking? Cooking? Acrobatics? Maybe it would help Dickie feel like his own person to see differences. The rest of the batfam could pick things for them to try and watch. Jason can now see Dickie isn’t Grayson, so maybe the rest need a wake up call too. Since they (Tim and Steph and sorta Bruce) seem to have had some “...but he’s just like Grayson” moments. Anyway, hope the real world is treating you well.

Awwwww this Jason was the Red-Head.. I like the natural black haired Jason and the hair dye for hiding his white frock of hair..

I love the idea of Dickie becoming Hood’s partner, maybe getting the black combat pants, chest armor a hooded duster like jacket with bands on the arms a red domino mask and using guns with dickies natural acrobatics.
