Great fic! Really enjoyed this one. I love looking at the silent communication between all of them and often wonder how it is that D'Art gets clued in. I loved the trust in each other that this portrayed, a belief that Aramis would indeed be able to help himself and Aramis himself knowing the faith they had in him. Good twist on the contest theme as well. I think I have to read it again now . . . .

Not the story I expected from the title but a cracker silent communication between them is one thing I've always loved but like all things it has to be learned.

I liked this deep insight into musketeers acting. I did not guess that it was to give Aramis time to recover. I thought they wanted to coerce bandits into making mistakes.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that was freakin intense i was panicking when the knife was on Aramis throat and drawing blood. Felt so bad for d'Artagnan not knowing what was going on
