I really enjoyed this! I think you captured everyone’s voices really well, and the trauma that brings Lumierr and Bell together. I like that Belle helped stop Gaston and it wasn’t a stereotypical damsel in distress type thing. Thanks for writing :)

Oh, my word, when I tell you I've never clicked on a notification so quick in muy life... I just finished this and it was absolutely amazing! I'm writing this review through tears because let's face it, the last chapter had me absolutely bawling my eyes out. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading every single chapter of this and I mean it when I say this is the BEST fanfic I have ever read. The characters were so believable and well written, and the slow burn romance between Belle and Lumiere was so sweet! You conveyed their developing relationship beautifully and I'm so sad to see that it's over. And the villain you portrayed Gaston to be was fantastic! He was wonderfully sinister and frightfully disturbing. I loved seeing Belle and Lumiere work together to defeat him once and for all! Thank you so much for sharing your story and talent with us, it has been truly amazing to read this wonderful fanfiction.

A wonderful ending to a wonderful story. As a child I had suspected Lumiere had a crush on Belle based on how he kept kissing her hand. It was great to see someone explore this concept. I do wonder though what is going to happen to the castle. Like who will be in charge of it now? And what does the beast's death mean in terms of who will run the kingdom?

I came looking for this pairing cause watching videos about the Disney Beauty and the Beast movies made me think how Belle and Lumiere have some really good chemistry in both versions, even the 2017 version. I have to say you've done a great job with this story and I cant wait to see how it plays out from here!

Eeeek! An update! I swear I woke up thinking about this story and I was so glad to see you've updated, though I'm sorry I didn't realize you'd updated sooner! I am ABSOLUTELY LOVING the relationship development between Lumiere and Belle. It's so sweet and believable! And the more I read this the more I absolutely hate Gaston! Reading that he'd skinned the Beast made me feel sick. He's such a heartless and evil character, and you have portrayed him wonderfully! I can't wait to read more! Please update soon! :D

It is so ironic that you posted this today. I'm right in the middle of writing one of Lumiere's scenes for my upcoming BATB/Cinderella crossover.
I really hope they're able to find the enchantress. She's pretty much their only hope now. If she really was cursing the prince for the greater good then surely she would want to help.

Oh my goodness! This chapter was so good! I’m really loving seeing things from Lumiere’s point of view. I hope you continue soon! As for things moving too quickly, I have to say that I agree with your statement, tragedy does seem to bring people together. No one could blame Belle and Lumiere for growing so close after everything they’ve been through. It’s perfectly normal to find someone to cling to in times of trouble, and I think Belle and Lumiere have found that in each other. I can’t wait to read the next part. I swear, this fic is still my favorite!
