I know the feeling. I can invision my stories fairly well, but trying to put my thoughts into words is like trying to describe smells with sounds.

I wonder what Ozpin's feelings on this are/will be? It was one thing when this was an attempt to rehabilitate, or at least integrate, Ruby into society. Now, not only is her mere presence endangering other students, but contrary to hopes she's actually pulling her team closer into her world.

I don't know when this chapter was written, but based on the context I'm guessing during V5. If that is the case, I highly recommend giving V6 a chance; a lot of A/Ns I've read in the last few weeks have talked about it having either inspired them or restored their faith in the show.

So, Adam and Cinder were part of the 24 taken, and are attempting to kill all the others for some reason? Huh. Neo's letter mentioned Roman having already been taken down, so I assume he was one of them as well. I must admit, I'm intensely curious as to his code-name.

I wonder why Ruby's doing this? I mean, I know her reasons, but there's been clear evidence of at least a mild sadistic streak. It's the underpinning motivation that interests me. Is she doing this to rob them of some of their innocence? Is she doing it for neutral reasons, like to show them the harshness of the world? Or is it for caring (or as close as Ruby gets, anyways) reasons, wanting to make sure their false expectations don't get themselves foolishly killed?

A couple thoughts. First, I like that you're doing something interesting with anyone from Team CFVY, and I haven't seen Coco in this sort of role before. Looking forward to seeing what that effects!

Second, I wonder if Pyrrha was made leader in this universe? Without the Death Stalker, Jaune wouldn't get a chance to demonstrate the potential of a good leader. On top of that, Pyrrha was able to analyze Ruby's actions as well as her and her opponent generally, and come up with reasonable conclusions on why Ruby acted the way she did.

Wow, Ruby was really mean to her parents. I get she has some pent up resentment going on, but she didn't even try to explain anything. She could have said something about how she was locked up in a training facility for most her life so she wasn't what she used to be. Instead she just said, "I'm different. Deal with it."

I love this story, and I can't wait to see it continued! (Side-note: Having a code name like Cold Steel reminds me of Tazer Face from Guardians 2. The whole comedy routine went through my head, cept I replaced Tazer Face with Cold Steel :))
