On another note, was wondering something: Species Bloodline with a Pokemon with Alola forms. Like, if a Bloodliner was a Marowak Species Bloodliner would they have the moves and abilities of both regular and Alolan or just from one of them?

One thing I liked about playing Pokémon Sun and Moon is that you can actually see your trainer avatar shiver during an idle animation on Mount Lanakila. It's little things like that that make a game more enjoyable. Kind of like seeing how Kiawe was affected by the frigid climate at Iolani's trial site.

Kiawe's pretty awesome even without Z-moves and before becoming a trial captain. Even taking on a whole biker gang by himself is worth respect.

But that biker gang really stole the show in that moment (before Frax and Velvet were introduced), especially the leader. Credit where it's due, that leader was really knowledgeable about how the Pokémon world worked (kids saving the day) and providing informational videos for his henchmen. Too bad he's the only one with a decent brain...

And that one biker who claimed he 'practiced good health', oh man, I was in stitches and cringing for a good while. XD

Really wished I could've seen Frax manage two Z-Moves in one battle, that would have been epic!

It seems no matter the situation, Kiawe's got a good head on his shoulders from dealing with the hapless Team Skull grunts to conversing about infidelity and the mysterious 'Daycare Man.' That's an enviable trait.

You found a good balance of action with comedy, drama, and slice-of-life for this one-shot. And that ending part with Cipher and Capriccio, you left on a great cliffhanger.

But brrrr, I felt sorry for the guy who got offed by the C Brother. Killed just because he had specific looks and implied powers.

Keep up the great work on these one-shots. These are a lot of fun to read, even if they sometimes give me chills.

P.S. Does Capriccio have Bloodliner Powers? And what was with that part about 'surpassing limits shrouded in gold?' Or would that be spoiling too much?

So Bloodliners can use Z-Moves in span of minutes ? Does the same applies for Mega Evolution and Bond Phenomenon ?
And I wonder if Frax and Velvet are aware of their powers ? If yes, will Kiawe and the others will discover that they are Bloodliners ?

I suppose that Frax and Velvet have a Dominion Bloodline who allows them to create Z-Cristals. Can they be related to Kahele ? I know that Crossoverpairinglover tell all his family was killed to the last man but that would not be the first time in history that we thought a line extinct while their are still descendants alive.
I wonder if we can have Iolani vs Cappricio ? (A trial captain is the equivalent of a gym leader)
But if the storyline of Sun and Moon continues, how can cope with a Flying-Type trial captain (Iolani) and a Flying-Type Elite Four (Kahili) ? Or Iolani is a expy of Kahili ?

I wonder how the events of Sun and Moon would play out if it were to happen, I wonder if Kukui is attempting to set up a League like he was in Sun and moon...

People probably can use more than one Z move a battle if the battle manages to last a while, like if you use a Z move at the beginning of a 6 on 6, you could probably use it again at the end of the 6 on 6

I honestly think that despite the Power up of Shadow Pokemon, they should not have any shadow Legendaries, it makes no sense why the Admins have the 3 legendary dogs when Evice and Nascour have a Tyranitar and Metagross. Legendaries in general probably need to act more like Ho-oh did in the Falkner one shot, Legendaries need to be well Legendary for the lack of a better word

Some random Ideas I had use them if you want to

Ash finding a way to use Enemy Stealth rocks as an attack to get rid of them without Defog/Rapid spin, they are after all just rocks floating in the air why can't they be moved somehow?
If Paul gets a pokemon that needs Happiness to evolve, it will not - in the same vein any of Ash's pokemon that need happiness to evolve will evolve
Anabel getting a growth spurt, longer hair and getting stuffed into a business suit for some reason
Salazzle - The more members you have in your harem the more respect you get from other Salazzle and as such they are Harem seekers
Yvetal was responsible for Orre's Lack of Pokemon and life in general
Some Alolan pokemon can be found in the Orange Islands since both are tropical areas for the most part

I was wondering when someone was going to address Alola's Trials. Kind of glad it was you to be honest. I was worried about how Trials would work due to Captaincy running out at 20 in the games. Really happy that was addressed.

I can see why some people are getting worried about Rowlet and Rockruff but I assume it is only a reference to Ash and not his actual Mons?

So can one use multiple Z-moves or is it just Fraxs Bloodline tech? That also makes me wonder about Sketch's limits on her own ability. Can she copy and release attacks or is it just item and paint creation?

The idea of Guzma chucking a stool at someone is way too good of an image. Three Hyper beams at one target is rubbish. And nice Dumbo reference… I wonder how one would fly unless itt stayed as a Phanpy...

And Cipher have theories about new abilities and such… I am unfamiliar with Break but it's a golden form or something? All that does is make me wonder about that one Suddowoodo… And am I the only one who thinks Naps has pink hair like his sister?

But Break does make me wonder. Would other things from the card game show up? I assume the Card Game actually exists in this world for people to play but… what I'm getting at would other elements show up such as Delta mons or something like Dark Charmeleon from the Team Rocket sets…

Good morning! Just waking up and reading this new addition to the Resetverse.

Another pretty good one, and we get now the first showcase of Z-Moves, as well as their limits. Also, I like how you added in on why some crystals break after one use, like it happened with Ash the first time he used his Z-Move with Pikachu.

Iolani and the twins Frax and Velvet seem to be quite nice. No matter if it's the brother's seed spreading around, looks like as long as they have the fortune of having someone good to raise them and put them on the right track, they'll grow into good people (sorry that Belladonna didn't have that luck). I'm a little worried now, though, with Frax having a Rowlet and Rockruff, does that mean Ash won't be getting his Alola mons?

And, we see Capriccio again. Seems that the guy just took a "kill on sight" mindset for every potential nephew of his. Can't help but think he's so paranoid now that he might just get the wrong person sometimes. And he has no idea on how much his brother has been spreading his seed around, it's easier to count the regions we've got no confirmation of him being there yet, so he's gonna have A LOT of work to do if he wants to erase that bloodline.

Overall, nice oneshot. Time to add it to my to-translate list. I get the feeling the Spanish readers will enjoy this one too.

Huh, this is completely unrelated, but if you type in 'flex' and 'frax' in google translate on the Japanese configuration, then press the speaker button, they almost sound the same (other than the 'a' and 'e' putting a jam in things). Probably a total coincidence, considering that Fraxinus and Velvet refer to different kinds of plants, but I thought it was somewhat interesting.

That's something I like about you, you take tiny little hints of something a character says and apply that to their overall character (or the setting) without feeling forced (for the most part). Hence why Lana's a thirsty girl, and Hapu's more interested in the fairer sex, and they both make sense in regards to what's available.

Once that is complete, enjoy the bounty of victory as you steamroll your way through adversity, regardless of how wonderfully terrible they are at being thugs. That is how you defeat Team Skull without seeing red; by seeing yellow instead.

More and more, the Resetverse of Pokemon expands far beyond Ash Ketchum's adventures. And in a lot of cases, the prospects of that expansion look ever grimmer. Cipher entrenches itself across the globe with its horrifying Shadows serving as a base to something far more potent.

On another note... Pikachu, Rowlet and Rockruff... Frax is basically Alolan Ash. Does that mean he won't get Rowlet and Rockruff later on?
