I think I said it in another review, but I'll self-plagiarize anyway: you've got a great knack for capturing the moments that make up the minutae of life and filling them with meaning and heart... life's down in the small details, and the oneshots you do are like little vignettes, little glimpses through windows into the worlds of characters, be it Gid or Nick or Judy (i mean let's be frank you do pretty well with all of em).

For lack of anything else to say, I still like reading them, so don't grow out of writing fanfiction aright okay aright

Aww, this was a cute oneshot. It's the best kind of fluff, both sweet and playful as well as emotionally deep. You REALLY nailed Nick and Judy here, their banter, their mannerisms, it was all perfect. And I appreciate the exploration into Judy's past, even if it wasn't as saucy as Nick might have wanted. :P

It almost seems like you're setting up for some kind of sequel here, but for now, I'll just congratulate you on a job well done. :)

Can't decide what I liked more. The detail of the first half or the dialogue of the second half. A great read either way.

what a cute story. I always love it when stories include some clever banter, and this one was no exception. you have judy and nick down to a tee and I adored the imagery and the pace of the story. the way you captured their dynamic was spot on. your writing is very compelling and smart, and i thoroughly enjoyed this fic.
