I just tried reading a story about this pairing and it's just my luck that it's a decent one. A very good mind opener for an open minded. And now I'm a bit of a fan of this pairing too.

I hadn't been thinking about E/K for the longest time, and just today I thought I would search for some! Wonderful to see you back again! The last line re wounded soul gets at the core of Kaoru's character, and I think sums up the dynamic that I love to see explored between these two in every fan work. A good slice of life between these two with a messy (but therefore fresh) resolution.

I don't think I've ever read a prom night scenarioit's nice to have a fresh setting. You've done well making the characters high school, teen-aged, and still themselves.
