I stumbled across this tonight as I was looking for more inspriation on some of my writing - very well done. There are quite a few interesting turns you've taken with this fic. You've probably had a few people request/say that your Outside of Time series is pretty amazing and that you should continue it. I think it's interesting how you mention that Dan is now outside of the timestream, because it's a concept I haven't seen a lot of in this fandom. I've often thought the same thing (actually, it's the fic I'm trying to write now with no avail -.-) and glad that I'm not alone. I've loved each story so far for different reasons and thought I'd send you a note.

If Danny did use his abilities, then the whole rest of the class would be no match against him.

I liked how you showed the new relationship between Danny and Dash. The dialogue effectively explained that it is more complex than Dash in his own way is supportive but does not simply fawn over Fenton now that he knows who he is.

Spectra also seems far more formidable and insidious than she is given credit for. She really is a nasty piece of work and even without showing us the whole fight, we understand enough to see how it is hitting Danny.

I liked the way you take on Danny's anxiety over his maturing form.
Tucker is far more than a 'side kick'; he helps keep Danny whole.

It's not the words we know but what we do with them.

Languages (other than English) have always been particularly challenging for me. I recall when I was in junior high, answering a question in French during an after school Hebrew class. I was pleased that for once I knew the answer. It was only when the other kids and the teacher gave me peculiar looks that I realized that I had used the wrong language. I ended up doing poorly in both classes.

The issues between Danny and Valerie were never properly resolved. I can see them awkwardly avoiding each other until forced to talk like this. Their relationship is a complicated one.

I can see why there has been a request for this to continue. It is presented as a one-shot but with the background and details that set up a full story, not to mention the way it leaves us hanging with no resolution. It is also fleshed out with some of the other one-shots that seem related.

This is such a lovely slice of life to go with the slice of meatloaf. The story of course centers around Danny and his relationship with his parents are crucial but Tucker and Danny have been lifelong friends and Mr. and Mrs. Foley have been part of his live also.

The is a lot more that needs healing besides Danny's ribs and head. Danny might consider it nothing but those injuries even if short term and scars indicate some deeper hurts that are starting to mend in a new relationship with Maddie.

This seems like a prequel to some of the other stories. It adds substance to Danny waiting on baited breath for Lancer to give him permission to act. I like the idea of setting up a contract and giving Danny a chance.

Of course I've heard this idea before (used it myself) but it was nicely done. I liked the easy conversation between Danny and Valerie.

I've been so busy that I'm only now trying to catch up with my fanfic reading. Unfortunately, this one is particularly timely now.
