Ane I know what you mean by writing and the plot just grow on its own. (planning in just writing a small oneshot, now it has at least 6 chapters...grr, it is hard letting go when the plot does not want to end)

This was a great twist on the pilot (and the next few episodes). Everything was totally in-character - Danny is snarky and loud and Steve finds a way to get what he wants no matter what. You really showed us Danny's intense anger at being pulled off the case (and how it could impact his career) very well. They barely touched on that in the pilot. Everything in that was from Steve's perspective.

I always enjoy some Danny whump so seeing him battling a fever while dealing with all of this was nice, too. One little nit-pick: Danny was with the Newark PD before coming to Hawaii, not Hoboken, although it's your story so I guess you are free to change it.

First, you get kudos for being brave enough to use "Fiduciary" in the title. Second, you took on the pilot / first episode. Guts.

Most important, though, you did a silky job of it. I loved it! Incredibly satisfying. From your writing to the content of your end A/N, you know your way around a story.

I love this! We don't see many fics focusing around the very first episode, and the very new kind of brash relationship our boys had.
